Tim woke up about a day after the twitching child settled into chirping of a bird, the bird was just a normal sound the man heard in his mornings but never woke up to it. This little pest was early. 'Masky' laughed a little to himself going to the dark window to only see the bright blue wings of a bird. He tried to force it away but the little idiot stayed put so Tim began to walk away. Then he heard a scream.

The scream was so human like he went to his brother s bed to check. He wasn't even there. Another cry of sorrow. Timothy looked out the window. The once bright blue bird was now a bloody mess failing and crying out incoherently. The cause of its pain, a raven who was eating him alive. The man just stared and said not a word.

And like that Tim was awake his masked brother shaking him " t-..masky, wake up, you're going to be late to train the little 'problem'
The man put on his mask as he tried to forget the dream

Another day another nightmare another worried look from my brother. He means well sure but I know he could never heal after. Well, to be honest, I don't know. I just feel lost and guilty at times. Memory is not my strongest aspect neither is emotions so I push those feelings back once again to carry on the day. I had slept in a little too late for breakfast but  Brian was kind and saved me some.

Now came that task, Great. As I walked to the training grounds I saw the kid. Well now that I think he's much shorter, hazel hair, darker eyes and the more I looked the more I saw the opposite of myself.

He joked and fooled so much I groaned in frustration just at this sight. This must have alerted him to myself because next thing I knew an axe was sticking out of the pole a few feet to right of me " good shot mr Rodgers but your going to have to work on that" I sneered at the boy before he I swear to zalgo he growled. " down boy I'm just here to help you not die so quickly"

I got to work quickly with him. The whole thing was a mess he twitched to much to be agile and failed the stealth portion but I will give it to him he did pass most others. When we were all done I let him have a break while I went to report to slender. He probably already knew if the kid was worth his time. He normally dose but every once and while his judgement will fail. And the poor person will be, well to say the least, exterminated.

I take a deep breath as I walk Into the large doors that have my boss behind them. "Sir?" I call out softly "come in child" he responds in his normal calm tone.
