New York City will always be the place I call home.

Sure it does have it's down falling, but the pros always deflect them in the most genuine way.

The wondrous job opportunities, numerous amounts of fashion reserves, restaurants, and cafes.

Countless nights of high-grade party's at fantastic clubs, the fashion lifestyle of looking like your constantly on the red carpet, high rise skyscrapers, and of course the city always being awake and alive.

I think you get the point

Moreover, all of these things truly make what 'New city' is rumored about.

However there is one thing I will never get over, and that my friend would be the shitty traffic on the streets.

Here I am dressed to impress, in a leather skirt that skin tight on my waist to show-off the hips but slightly loose enough for space on the ends. The skirt was accompanied by a black belt with embedded silver rods and a silver zipper going across the skirt.

I matched it with the white bandeau top that I paired with some black Louis Vuitton heels and a leather jacket in case it gets cold.

However, no amount of an outfit could get me to stop from thinking and imagining about the yelling I'm about to get from Mia for being late.

Because your girl Lexi was stuck in Saturday night traffic. The second worst time to be in traffic at night.

"Oh come on! You so could have made that turn. Dumbass" I yelled, as one hand stayed on the steering wheel and the other raised to accommodate my yelling.

I honked the car in front of me once again, because one, I'm extra and two I have serious road rage, but that's just beside the point.

Groaning I rest my back into the seat waiting for the turning light. "Mia is going to have my head" I muttered to myself as I reached for the screen in my car and press Talia to call.

Talia is always the nicest and safer person to call when you're not trying to get yelled at

"Hello? Alexis is that you" Talia shouted through the phone.
