Alissa's POV:
"Come on Alissa, we're going to be late!". Everyone was scared of me, but the best way is that they ignored me. People would give me dirty looks and tried to avoid me for bad influence. I was somehow born strange, my strength was so strong and my speed was so fast that I almost likely can outrun a cheetah, all of this felt that I had superhuman
. "What took you so long?!"my dad hissed in disappointment. "Dressing up and getting ready." I said in a temporary excuse. I slumped into the car and my dad hurriedly reared the engine as quickly as possible and vroom straight through the streets. I looked out the window and casually thinking, why did I ever come here? My dad dropped me off from the entrance and didn't said anything. I carried my backpack and went inside. Everyone stared me like a hawk and nobody said a word. While I was at my locker, Christa, one of the popular girls came by with her fancy gain of other sassy girls, mockingly teased me. "Oh look what we have hear, the Pilot girl! Girls, say hi to Ali!" Christa derisively laugh. The girls said hello and at the end they laughed sarcastically until everyone heard them joined their laughter together. I was so embarrassed and angry that I walked straight to my home room and sat at my desk taking out my assignments, doing my business, and pretented that none of this happened. When class started, the teacher would shun me and pretended that I didn't exist. At lunch, almost nobody want to sit next to me, even if it's a feet away. I had the whole table to myself. Thee same girls who teased me that morning giggled including some of their boyfriends which I guess most of them are jocks. One of them asked me a question if I can even fly a plane or a jet. I said nothing and just ignored them until one of the jocks answered her question and said that I can't even fly because I don't have wings at all. Right after that, it was study hall for about twenty minutes until PE. It is somehow my favorite subject since I'm very athletic at everything the coach yells at. We started doing warm ups which is outside the track. I immediately what the coach told us to do fifteen sit-ups, twenty jumping jacks, and a one-minute leg lift three times. Everywhere I go to my next class, everyone would just stare at me. Some girls would gossip, boys would glare at me, and teachers would do nothing to stop it. I tried to complain about all of this to the principal but he wouldn't budge and just ignored me like everyone else. Once school was over, my dad picked me up and still, he never spoke to me on the way home. I did my homework legitimately and ate dinner, then I went to bed without a word.
Next day:
It was Saturday, my favorite day to start off right. I went out for a long walk, it was foggy and cold, then I came back to get breakfast. Dad was on the phone talking, something doesn't seem right. While I was enjoying my scrambled eggs, he was acting a bit desperate and worried. "W-what? Now? No, I don't think she's rea-" the person on the phone started to become more tense to him. "I know, I know, but she hasn't-" "ok then, we'll be there soon, all right bye." He hang up somewhere and explain it on the way there on what he's doing. I felt nervous and scared about it. What will they do to me? Will they sent me to prison because of me? I have to stay calm. Trying not to face hard consequences about this. I think it's probably dad trying to do something about divorce? When we got there, I sat down at the waiting room and waited until the secretary came to us and we followed her. She sent us into an office. The office was narrow and long with a table that was exactly the same shape in the office but smaller. We both sat down at the narrow side of the table, as I just sat down, the big leather chair turned to us. It was one of the government employees.
