I got up by 5:00 am and took a quick shower to start my day. My stepdad was still sleeping so I made breakfast myself. I completely forgot that we needed to buy groceries because we were running out of food. I scanned the fridge to see if there's anything that is fresh and deliciously yummy to eat. I found a small cup of strawberry yogurt and an apple. I washed the apple and dried it off. I bit the apple while getting the spoon for my yogurt. I went out the front door and sat at the patio and slurped at my yogurt. That's when my stepdad came downstairs wearing his normal suit as always. I went back inside and didn't say anything but just said "morning" to him. My stepdad sipped his coffee while looking at the news in his iPad. After he was done, he put the mug in the sink and took me straight to my training. Stephanie then gave him a really long talk. I somehow overheard them saying about my training and how it was for me. "I suppose that she might be ready sooner or later. What if Alissa and I might now practice some tricks that she needs to learn?" Stephanie whispered. "I'm afraid not, Stephanie, perhaps some won't hurt a bit I'd say." He mumbled. Both of them talked back and forth to see what is best for me, until everything was silent. Stephanie then saw me and brought me to a different gym. This time it was different. Stephanie gave me the same boxing mittens and she wore the same focus mitts. We did the same routine as yesterday, dodging one another and doing some punches also. After that, Stephanie was being serious to me. "I suppose that we might do something more challenging." She said. I followed her down the elevator until we were at the bottom, the basement. It was strange that we were going down here because I've always thought about buildings that included a basement would be a boiler room or something. But when we got down there, it was a bit more than I expected. It was cleaner and had a complete opposite look on what a basement looked like. It was like a modern break room. It had a coffee shop, a lobby, multiples of TV, and most of all a big gym right down the end of the hallway which did explain why she brought me here. When we got to the gym, it was completely different to the other gyms. It had equipment that looked more complicated than I thought. I felt suspicious about Stephanie going here, but then I saw some guys who were like one of the men in the US army, but one of them wore a black tank top and the other wore a white t-shirt, both of them I suppose were wearing navy long pants and were doing weightlifting. Stephanie then gave me instructions on a task that I could be a backup spy. We were on a wrestling mat which was twice as big as the last gym we were at. "Alissa, what you're about to do is something more real this time around here if you need to defend yourself." Stephanie continued. "I'm going to show you some simple moves that might help you." She showed me some moves that were pretty simple, most of them were dodging. When she was done, I copied of what she did. She approved my moves and asked me to practice those for my warm-up. She then explained some other moves to me that might help me. She demonstrated tricks and other tactics and after she was done, I did the same thing as she was doing. "I might plan on more tactics the next day, but for now I want you to practice those moves that I did for homework, alright?" Stephanie said in a wink. "Okay, yeah." I replied in exhaustion. I was so tired that I left the gym and slumped in the couch in the lobby room. I completely forgot about my stepdad picking me up and it was almost past three by now. I quickly went up the elevator and immediately pressed the button. I went out the entrance and saw my stepdad waiting and giving me a smirk. "Sounds like you had a hard day, am I right?" My stepdad asked while I was opening the car door. "Yeah" I chuckled in exhaustion. We went to Panera Bread since I wanted to go to sleep right away. I ordered a salad and a tomato basil soup to go. I ate my food when we got home. I went to take a comfortable shower because of all the sweat from all the moves. Then I checked to see if my teacher gave me any assignments, but luckily there was nothing in my gmail account. I was relieved because I had a rough day. I went to bed and thought being a spy could be too risky since those moves really made me struggled. I couldn't think hard enough so I rested my eyes completely shut and forgot all about this.
