“Get up, Canny!” he screamed in my ear.

Really, dude?

You should know by now that screaming doesn’t affect me.

“CARTER!!” he screamed.

Yeah, you just keep on tryin’ buddy.

I heard shuffling around my bed and eventually the noise was gone.

He left? Drew usually doesn’t give up that easily. I wonder what he’s up to. Maybe he needs me. Maybe his bitchie girlfriend is bitching again. Or maybe Wes is on his man-period. (He-he)

In the middle of my inner babble, I heard more shuffling and something else. Like a liquid…

The sloshing of liquid in a bucket.

My eyes shot open and before I had time to move, Drew had dumped a bucket full of water on me.

But this water smelled weird.

Drew, you’re gonna get it now.

I gasped and sat straight up in my bed, and Drew was already running out of the room laughing his head off.

“Come back here,” I screamed, trying to get up to run after him, bt as soon as my feet touched the floor, I slipped on water and landed flat on my ass.

I could hear Drew laughing even louder from downstairs.

“SCREW YOU, DREW!” I said.

I gave up on trying to catch him, and went to take a shower, since my damp shirt was showing my body and all its glory.

I was in the shower when I heard footsteps in my bedroom, the sounds coming near the bathroom door. I grabbed my towel and I immediately got out of the shower, leaving it on to make it seem like I was still showering (SMART!!) and went over to the sink and opened the cabinet to get out my water gun. I filled up the water gun and tiptoed to the door. I sprung it opened and sprayed the person standing there, not realizing who it was, just spraying them.

“WHAT THE HELL?!” the person screamed and I lowered my weapon and stared at the soaking wet Keaton before me.

“I’m sorry, Keats! I thought you were that hoodlum,” I said now pointing my gun to Drew who was in the doorway.  I sprayed him and he backed up against the room pretending he was dying.

He grabbed his heart and yelled,” WESLEY!”

Wesley ran up the stairs and looked at Drew like he was insane.

“Wes, baby, I love you, and I will always love you. And I love you, too, Keats,” He said as he looked at me and then he went on, “and you! You, monster! You can burn in the deepest depths of the devil’s ass.”

Wes eventually (this kid was so slow) and knelt beside Drew.

“Drew,” he said, “don’t go into the light!”

He pretended to sob as Drew’s eyes fluttered shut and Wes and Keats sobbed at his sides.

“So, you guys can drag his dead body out of here, and I’ll get dressed so we can get lunch, okay?” I said cheerfully.

“Okay,” they said in unison.

Drew was still pretending to be dead so I went over to him and licked his cheek.

“EW! OH MY, GOD! THAT’S NASTY! I’M UP!” He yelled and left the room with Wes and Kitten laughing behind him.

This was gonna be a good day.
