Our mom picked us up from school and showed us cameras she got at the store. "I'm going to put these around the house, so we know what's making that noise." She said holding the box up. My Sam grabbed the box and looked at the back. "Motion activated camera..." She mumbled while sliding her finger under the words.

We arrived home and set up the cameras in each room of the house. That night we felt a bit safer knowing that we'll be able to see the thing causing the noises.

I woke up to the sound of crying next to my ear. I jolted up and didn't see anyone. Sam was staring at the ceiling, not even blinking.

"S-Sam? Sam, are you okay? Did you hear anything?" I asked walking slowly up to her bed. She didn't move.

"Sam? S-sam...are you okay?" She didn't answer. "Sam, answer me." I stated tapping her shoulder. "SAM!" I shook her body, but she still didn't move.

I felt tears running down my cheeks. "SA-M!" My voice cracked as I began to scream her name. I shook her violently but she still wasn't answering.
