AQUELLA'S POV

Lying down on the grass beneath me, I looked around at the fields surrounding me. It was so serene, so beautiful. I sighed as I turned on my side, breathing in the fresh air, a sense of calmness washing over me. The grass rustled gently in the breeze, the sky so blue and clear that it reminded me of a certain pair of eyes, ones that manage to take my breath away every time I look into them.

I closed my eyes, picturing those blue eyes crinkle at the corner, laughter escaping those pink lips, ones I never get enough of.

A ghost of smile takes over my expression when I feel a pair of lips lightly caressing my skin, peppering small, delicate kisses on my neck. My lips stretch into a full blown smile as I turn slightly to look up at the person behind me. He keeps pressing his lips onto my neck, moving down to my collarbone before he slowly looks up at me and smiles that beautiful smile of his.

That's all it takes, a smile from him and I melt into a puddle. The hand that was previously on my waist moved up to grasp my hand gently yet firmly, intervening our fingers together. He turned onto his back before tugging me closer to his body. He turned his head to the side to look at me and smiles again. Butterflies erupted in my stomach as I shuffled closer to him.

We didn't say anything for what felt like eternity. We didn't have to. The silence was comforting, words that had to be said, already out in the open without either of us having to open our mouths. But I said it anyways, the words leaving my lips, barely above a whisper, but he heard them.

Don't leave me.

He looked at me intently, his smile fading away slowly as he looked at me with an intensity burning behind his eyes, his expression serious. But then his smile came back, this time even more soft and reassuring as he leaned in and placed a kiss on my forehead, his lips lingering there for more than a second as he mumbled against my temple.

Never.

I slowly blinked my eyes open. The light coming from outside the window was enough to cause irritation to seep into my veins.

Ugh. Why did I have to wake up?

I smiled lazily as I remembered parts of the dream I was having that weren't too hazy. That is when I started to wonder why I was feeling overly warm.

Still in a sleepy haze, it took me a while to register the strong and sturdy arms wrapped around my torso from behind and the warm breath tingling the back of my neck and shoulder.

I tried turning around without waking Jay up but he wouldn't let go, his grip tightening on me. I chuckled and after a few minutes of hardship and lots of turning around, I managed to lie on my other side so that I was now facing him. He was still sleeping which I found a bit weird since I never woke up before him. Ever.

My eyes roamed over his features, taking in his long eyelashes that were covering his beautiful blue eyes, his tousled hair to his plump lips and chiseled jaw. I lifted my hand and traced his jaw, rubbing his 5 o'clock shadow lightly, smiling when he pulled me in even closer.

My eyes caught on to something shining on my hand when I realised that it was the silver ring, the blue stone lying on top of it glistening under the sunlight. I lifted my hand up to look at the stone, happiness which I can't describe in words filling up my heart.

I looked back at Jay to see his beautiful eyes fluttering open, showing me his bubblegum eyes, the same eyes I fell in love with. The same eyes which manage to drown me and make me fall for him even harder. It's a never ending cycle, one I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. It's when he gives me that killer smile of his at that moment is when I realise that this smile of his, the real one which he gives me, nothing would ever match up to this one. Even the memories don't pay him justice.

He lifts my hand up, which was resting on his face and kissed my palm all the while looking at me right in the eye, his eyes sparkling with a boyish glint, a bit of mischievousness and something else which leaves me breathless. His smile then turns into a playful smirk as he gently tugs me towards his body, encaging me as his arms materialise around my body. I yelp and a giggle escapes my lips as he tucks his head in my neck, nuzzling me. His hair slightly tickling my neck and his warm breath fanning over my shoulder, sending shivers all over my body. I relax and cuddle against his chest, breathing him in.

I can never get enough of Jay. It's just not possible. It's an insatiable feeling, a thirst which never quenches. I place a kiss over his chest, right over his heart as he kisses the top of my head. We lay there, not wanting to get up. Not caring about the world around us.

Because my world consists of him only, and he's all I need.

And as we lay in each other's arms, sleep finding us yet again, I could only think about the words resounding inside my head. I tightened my hold on Jay as I let sleep take over me.

Don't leave me.
Never.
