Derek's P.O.V

"NO, ALEX PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME" I shout through tears. "Sure glad I saved you this time... You are amazing... Derek....i lov....." says Alex, but he doesn't get to finish his sentence as he fell unconscious. I grab my phone and dial 911."911 what's your emergency" "My friend has been shot, we need an ambulance immediately, he's bleeding out" I say with such urgency. While I wait for the ambulances I check Alex's back to see if there were exit wounds. I see two exit wounds on his back, which would be a whole lot better if the bullets hadnt gone so dangerously close to his heart.

The ambulance gets here and the paramedics rush out. They see Alex and check if he has a pulse... he doesn't. They pick him up and put him on a gurney as they start trying to revive him. "Can I ride in the ambulance with him?" I ask. "No this is only for family, sorry kid, you go talk to the police officers and explain what happened" the paramedic says.

I talk to the officers and explain to them how David kidnapped me, Alex came in, and how he jumped infront of a bullet for me. All of this happened so fast and I just felt like crying. I leave, once I finish explaining and know I'm not needed anymore, and head to the hospital to try and find Alex.

After walking for what seemed like forever, I end up at the hospital. It was a big and blue building. It might look like just a building but this building better do a GODDAMN good job at saving the love of my life. A tear streams down my face as I start to think about Alex and his cute smile, with his dimples, and his big brown eyes that just melt my heart. I walk into the hospital and ask if I could see Alex Lothario. The lady upfront checks her computer and says, "He's in the ICU" I say thank you and head to the elevator to go to the 4th floor where the ICU is located at. Once I get there I search the whole floor until I finally find Alex. He looks to be in pretty bad shape as I notice he's starting to bleed out of his bandages. "Alex.... Alex.... can you hear me" I whisper. "Derek.... is that you..."says Alex. I can see that cute smile I always think about start to form, soon I see his adorable dimples and his eyes lock onto mine. "Alex I just wanted to say that.... I love you and don't ever do that again, I could have lost you" I say. "You won't ever lose me Derek, I love you too much to see you get hurt" says Alex. I crawl onto his bed and lay my head against his warm chest. When I do I could hear his heart beating and it just made me burst out into tears. "Hey hey hey hey hey..... I got you, it's alright, I'm alive and well. I'm here for you" he says while he wraps his arms around me in a big hug. I don't deserve someone like this, but I'm going to do everything I can to make sure he doesn't get hurt again. I look up at him just as he looks down at me, we start kissing until we hear a knock at the door. I jump out of his bed shaking and all red from embarrassment. It was a doctor. "Alex, I'm afraid I have some bad news....."
