Mingyu was very excited that the Team Building he had prepared for his crew for a long time was finally upon them. He carefully planned the schedule of activities, reserved the venues and vehicles, and gathered everyone at the Avenue to begin his very special event.
Seokmin and Eunseo were very excited to be on the same team together until Mingyu announced the members of each team. Sadly, they were opposing teams, but Seokmin assured it would still be fun because Mingyu let them invite their friends to join them. Eunseo invited Meiqi along, while Seungkwan and Minghao arrived to join in the fun as well.
First on Mingyu's schedule was to visit a mudflat and harvest as much clams and seafood as they can. Each team were given a specific type to catch and would be in-charge of bringing food enough for everyone. There were also mini games they had to play in the mud flat, such as Golden Bell, relay, and push palm.
After their activities in the mud flat, Mingyu took his team to go fishing before they cooked their catches for lunch. He also prepared a few other activities that required teamwork, and he was satisfied with the result. He announced there were still a few more activities left to do and finally took them to their last location -- his little sister's water park in Anyang.

Once they finished everything on the schedule, Mingyu let his employees enjoy the rest of the day in the resort. He allowed them to use the facilities for free and have as much fun as they want. Ofcourse, he also spent his time playing in the water with Seokmin and their friends, doing water sports and all. Meanwhile, Eunseo and Meiqi spent their time taking lots of pictures and playing games with the rest of the crew.
The employees of Avenue 46 all had an in-house dinner courtesy of their CEO. He thanked everyone for participating in the event he prepared thoroughly for such a long time, and in return he received warm thanks and smiles from his employees.

It was past bedtime but Seokmin and the others still haven't finished taking turns in singing on the karaoke. They were still hyperactive despite 2 hours of singing that it kept Eunseo up for some time. A warm cup of milk wasn't helping either, so she decided to take a stroll around the resort in hopes that it'll help her sleep.
Eunseo walked around the small plaza in the middle of the resort, which connected the other areas together. She found different kinds of flora and was surprised she'd even see Jeju-native hanlabong trees there. Eunseo continued to explore different areas to keep her company, and maybe walking that far would tire her out and get her to sleep. She heard Mingyu's sister owned the place, and she was impressed of how wealthy their family must be to leave a huge resort in their young daughter's hands.
After some time, Eunseo wandered to the private pools and decided she'd take a peek at the infinity pool they have in that area. When she got there, she hesitated after finding out someone was using the pool even at that time. She casually passed by like she saw nothing, but was surprised when a low voice called her name. Out of all the people who could possibly be there at that time, why did it have to be Mingyu?

She tried to act normal as she turned to look at him, but he quickly noticed her sudden awkwardness. She explained she was trying to get some sleep and complained about the noraebang brothers, Mingyu apologizing to her in their behalf. Since she was already there, he told her to have a casual conversation with him and offered her something to drink.
"Do you swim? You only played around earlier today. You could swim now if you want. The pool is too big even for me."
"Ah, I'll pass. I didn't bring my stuff with me, I didn't even expect to see you here."
"Alright. The water's warm though, and the view over here's nice. Just to let you know."
Eunseo sighed and walked over to that tiled side of the pool with her drink, and sat there dipping her toes into the water. They talked about the resort and Mingyu openly told her stories about his family's businesses, while Eunseo openly expressed her thoughs about the Team Building being a successful one.
Eventually their conversation lasted a bit longer than expected and their subject changed from one topic to another. Eunseo didn't even notice they were talking comfortably with each other until she mentioned about her impression of him changing over time.
"You were pretty cool earlier, too. I mean it's a given that you cook very well, but there's a lot more admirable things that you could do other than that. You're actually nice. Your smile is cute too, you should smile more often rather than being grumpy all the time."
"Wouldn't Seokmin get upset if he found out you're spending time flattering me?"
"I told you, there's nothing going on between us. I don't have a boyfriend, you heard what my mother told you."
"Date me."
"Excuse me?"
"You said I was cool, right? I'm nice and have a cute smile and your mother likes me, too. So date me. You're single, aren't you?"
"Well yes but isn't that a weird basis of dating someone?"
"Son Juyeon, do you wanna date me or not?"
"Isn't this escalating too quickly? Can't we try working it out before we go seriously?"
"Okay, if that's what you want."
Mingyu pursed his lips and pulled himself out of the water, looking sulky as he did. Eunseo felt her heart break a little at his expression, and quickly made up her mind. She stood up and followed him to his bench as he pat his skin dry with a towel. He faced her only when he finally heard her agree, startling Eunseo who almost fell into the pool if Mingyu hadn't held her waist.
On their way back to their rooms (which were coincidentally opposite each other), Mingyu kept teasing Eunseo that she made the right choice of dating him else he would've finally fired her, and Eunseo teased him back for his abuse of power. He made her face him and requested they keep their dating a secret from everyone for the mean time. Eunseo agreed and promised to keep her mouth shut until he decides to let people know about them. He smiled at her softly and wished her a good night before both finally turned in for the night.
