1st year Highschool (flasback)

Eren POV

"Eren, wake up"

"Wake up!"

"WAKE UP!!!"

"Ok. That's it."

After that, everything went quiet and I slept peacfully when I felt something cold. I immediately woke up, eyes wide as I hugged myself due to the coldness. "Breakfast is ready downstairs." I looked at my left to see my brother holding a bucket. Telling me that he threw me cold water. I glared at him and he smirked. He rubbed my hair and made it messy than it is. "Goodmorning to you too, brother." He walked out of the room with the bucket and close the door. I went into the bathroom and stripped my clothes off. I took a bath and after I'm clean, I dried my self off. I wrapped a towel on my lower half and went out of the bathroom.

I went to my drawer and got some fresh uniform and wear it. I combed my hair and put my wore clothes at a container of waste clothes. I went downstairs and I could smell bacon and eggs. I went to the dinning table and sit at one of the chairs. Brother was almost done eating as I started eating. "Will your friends fetch you here?" Mother asked. Brother nodded and get up and went to the door. "I'm sorry that your brother hang-out with his friends more than you." Mother apologized. I smiled at her as I ate the bacon. "No need, mother. I'm happy by my own."

She gave me a weak smile, knowing that I have no friends. I reassured mother as I ready myself to walk to school. "Do your best at school and don't let your anger and hatred control you so you won't transform. Bye!" I told my mother goodbye as I went out of the house. I walked to school and went to classroom A. I went at the corner left seat of the room and sat at the vacant chair. I pulled my book and started reading it when someone slamed the desk of the chair where I'm sitting. I looked up and saw a short male with percing grey eyes and a well-groom undercut raven hair.

I just stared at him, thinking what's his problem. "Staring is rude, brat. Now get the fuck out of my seat before I shove some windex in you." I glared at him. "Why? Your not my boss nor master. Don't you boss me around." He glared at me back. I'm maybe scared but I came here first. "Don't make me put you on the list." I rolled my eyes. Not caring what he said. It's just a list. "H-hey, green eyes. J-just leave that s-sit." I decided to sit next to a blonde coconut guy who called me green eyes. As I went there, I heard a 'tch' from him. "A-Armin." The coconut stretched his hand and I gladly accept it. "Eren." His eyes widden. "Your Eren? The one that was called as..." I looked away as I nod. I looked back and saw him smile.

"That's cool." He said. I smiled as I looked at the first person that accepted me as what others called 'monster'. "By the way, Armin. Who's that guy and what's with him?" I asked pointing at that well-groom guy. He looked at me with his widden eyes. "You don't know him? He's like the captain of almost everything. He's name is Levi Ackerman." I just looked at him in disbelief. "He's one of the four bad boys of the school. He's a basketball player, a model, rich, and many more." He continued. "What's the list he's talking about? " I asked. "That list will turn your life in hell." He told me. " My life is ALREADY a living hell thanks to this 'titan' in me and to my brother. I thought as I heard the teacher came in.

It's lunch time and Armin decided to eat with me at the cafeteria. We talked a lot and we became friends. We kept chating until the bell rang. We came inside as early as we can. As we wait, we heard a loud plea. "Please don't! I beg of you, I-I'll do anything just d-don't put me in that list!" We went out and saw a crowd. We went near and in the middle of the crowd are 5 boys. A guy that's kneeling infront of Levi and at the back of him were 3 guys. One of them is my...brother!?

"Tch. Lick it." He ordered. He moved his shoes next to the mouth of the kneeling guy. I can't stand from it so I butt in. "Stop." I told them. Armin is about to pull me out of there when I went near the guy that's kneeling. I helped him up and told him to get out of this. I glared at him as he looked at me with annoyance. "You know this guy?" A blonde hair with caterpillar eyebrows asks. In a blink of an eye, that Levi was holding me in my collar. "Don't go butting in our fucking business. Got that, Brat?" He asked as Armin butt in and told him yes on behalf of me. Levi let go and continue on their way. I noticed brother looks at me as he sigh. Armin help get up when someone offer a hand. I immediately accepted it as I thank the guy. I look at him and my eyes went wide.

He's one of the bad boys a while ago. I thought. "The name's Jean. The guy with percing eyes is Levi and the guy with large eyebrows is Erwin. The oldest one is Zeke. On the behalf of them, we're sorry but please understand that butting with our business may cause you some major problems. So I suggest don't." After that, he went pass us. "Um Eren, your blushing." Armin told me. I covered my face as Armin chuckles. We went back to our classroom and just in time, the proffesor came in.

The day went fast and the clubs will be presenting next week. Me and Armin were walking home. Besides, his house is 2 houses away from mine. We walked through the school gate when a girl called me. "You must be Eren Jeager, right?" She asks. I nod and she handed me a folded paper. Before I could ask her, she walked away. I open it and read it.

Dear little brother,

  I'm asking you a favor not to tell mother that I went on a fight and I'm staying with a friend. I'm fine but if you dare tell her, I'm telling her what happened today and she won't be happy.

I just cringed at the nickname he gave to him. Armin looked at the letter and I let him read it. He cringed at first but was change to laughter. I place this inside my pocket and we continue walking to our houses. When we apart, we exchanged goodbye as I walk inside the house. "Welcome back honey." My mother greeted me as I went to the kitchen and saw her cooking. "How's your day?" She asks. "Better than last year." I told her. She covered the pan she was cooking at and went to me with a glass of water. "Oh? Tell me about it." She looeds at me with interest. I told her everything except helping a victim of those bad boys, brother getting into a fight, and some more. After that, my mother suggested me to take a shower. I gladly accepted her suggestion and went to my room. I striped every clothes I'm wearing and get the folded paper in my pocket. I started to shower and after I'm clean, I dry my self off. I wrapped a towel on my lower half and went out of the bathroom. I pick out some pjs and thow my dirty clothes in a waste clothes container. I went downstairs and throw the folded paper in the trash bin. "Do you know where's your brother?" Mother asked. "He's with he's friends house having a group study and that friend of him invited to stay for two nights." I lied. Not a great lier but at least she bought it. We ate dinner and I volonteered to wash the plates.

After that I went upstairs to do some advance studying. After some hours, I decided to go to sleep. So I went to the switch to turn of the lights and went to bed. I've thought of Jean helping me out and thought of all those years I've been alone. Not that I don't appreciate Armin being my first friend. It's just like in anime and manga that when I look at him, the background sparked with hearts. I put those aside and the tiredness of this whole day consume me to sleep.
