Jace parked in front of the Institute, I got off before him. His helmet was already off though, I pecked his cheek and ran to the door, I opened the door with my stele. I looked behind me to see Jace I jumped and heard him chuckle, "Thank you so much for tonight," I stood on my tiptoes to hug him, I felt his arms wrap around my waist, my heart skipped a beat.

I heard someone clear their throat behind me, I let go of Jace and saw Alec. ugh...great! I mean, I like him, but jeez loosen up a bit! I quickly put smile on my face, "Hey, Alec! How was your day?" I asked. His eyes glided over me, then went to Jace, "Jace can we talk...alone in the library?" he firmly said. "Gee, Alec I'm glad your day was good," I mumbled. Jace moved out from behind me, Alec already left to the library. Jace turns around and hurried to catch up with Alec.

I walk over to Isabelle's room to get her camera. I knock once and the door swings open.

"Michaela! HOW WAS YOUR DATE!" She squeals and pulls me in to her room.

"Good, and I don't want to get into details, I need your camera." I rush out. "Ooookaayy?" she says and gets up to get her camera, then she gives it to me, "Thanks Izzy!" I say and hug her and rush out her door. Phew! I thought I'd get sucked in there! I sprint over to the library, the door was open and I heard Jace and Alec talking I walked closer to listen.

"You can't possibly love her!" scoffed Alec. Ouch!
"Well...I don't! I just need someone to play with and she was perfect sooooo..." Jace trailed off. What? I thought...my eyes fill up with tears.

I take the camera in my hand and chuck it at Jace, "Ow, what the hel-" he looked up at me, "I should have known!" I yelled, "Michaela plea-" "No! Don't 'Michaela please' me! I've heard what I needed to hear, how could have been so...so STUPID!" I sob, and run to my room.
