Fun Fact!!!! That's the owner of the Cafe (Aka Adrien Brody, movie star enjoy this chapter!)
I Decide to exit from the laundry room. As soon as I walked out I saw nothing but dishes being thrown and costumers running out of the cafe.
"Hey! If you keep throwing dishes I'm going to have to call the police. And as much as I want to right now, I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt!" The man yells. I walk forward just a little bit more, my heart racing to a T. Not because James might go to jail. But because he's completely lost his mind and he might harm one of these people in here.
"James stop! Stop before you hurt someone else" I yell running forward, but the guy pulls me behind him, because he spots that James actually has a blade in his hand.
"Oh hey Vivianne, I've been calling you all day! Why! have you not picked up your phone!" He starts to walk closer to me, but this man keeps pushing me backwards.
"Stay back man, you're not getting anywhere near her with that knife. The cops have been called so you stay right there!" The man yells to him, but I guess James did not care, because he kept walking toward us.
"Vivianne, I saw you... The way you looked at him. The way you went in the back and came out with completely different clothes on. Is this the guy that you've been messing with." He makes wild gestures to the man that's shielding me.
"James, what are you talking about! Did you even see what happened. For crying out loud James he spilled coffee down my blouse. I've only just met him today. Listen to yourself!"
I push pass the man and walk straight up to James. He looks at me for a few seconds then lowers the knife to his side. One of the bystanders hurries and snatches it.
"James. The cops are on their way, you have to accept the fact that this relationship, or what ever it was, is over. I can't handle this anymore. AND AFTER TODAY I don't think I ever want to speak to you again. I don't care for my own life! BUT YOU ENDANGERED OTHER PEOPLE'S LIVES TOO!" He looked as if he was about to say something, but got interrupted when the cops busted through the door.
I hurry and step away as they read him his rights. I run my fingers through my hair as I watch him get detained.
"Vivianne! You know you love me Viv, I'll be back, I always come back! Vivianne, don't let them do this!" I turn and walk the other way, because no matter what went on in my life, I was still very gullible. As I sat in the booth, I heard a couple of workers saying that the cafe was closed for the rest of the day.
I didn't even realize that guy was sitting in front of me.
"Vivianne, was your name I presume?" I look at him for a couple of seconds.
"Yes, my father wanted to me to have a name similar to his..." He smiled a little bit.
"What was his name? If you don't mind me asking that is." I shook my head, he's so polite.
"You're fine, His name Victor Mosk Vimone Summers. He came here from Italy hoping to find a job and make a living for himself. He found a wife that he thought would be perfect for him. It turns out she was verbally, mentally and physically abusive. But they had two children together, and he wanted to make a will for both of his daughters." He just listened. That's all I wanted anyone to do, was just...listen.
"What happened to your sister?" He replied before I continued.
"She was killed..." He looked away quickly
"I'm sorry I didn't realize. I'm gonna stop asking questions now" I smile a little. He definitely reminds me of my father. I lean forward and place my hands in a ball on the table.
"Again, you're fine. I'm un-phased by these things, as they happened a long time ago. It's been almost 10 years since her death. She was walking home from school one day and she was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. They say a drug deal had been going on and she witnessed it. Fear that she was going to snitch, they kidnapped her." I took a breath, trying to keep from crying.
"These weren't just regular drug dealers. These men happened to be drug lords themselves. When they found her body she had been raped, and tortured. She had been strangled, bruise marks all over her throat. Very deep bruising in her stomach from where they were kicking her, and a bullet wound in the side of her head." A tear falls down my eye and I lower my head to look at the table.
"We didn't know but she was pregnant. She was only 18. The doctors said she had only been 4 weeks along, which means that she was afraid to tell us. She was getting ready to graduate high school top of her class. My father took it really hard, started blaming himself. Our mother started blaming him too, and she would abuse him every now and then. Overwhelmed with guilt, two months later my father took his own life." I wipe my eyes and look up from the table.
The man is staring right at me. He urges me to continue. So I do.
"Being a 22 year old Junior in college was a hard time for me. I had to go home and take care of a bunch of things. My father made a will. Leaving everything in me and my sisters name, but since she was no longer there. It all went to me. This didn't sit well with my mother." He raised his hand up towards me, urging me to stop.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to dump all that on you. You could've told me to stop earlier." This time he actually laughs.
"I didn't tell you stop because I didn't want to hear it. I told you to stop because you're crying. And crying doesn't suit your face. I saw you smile and it looks a whole lot better so yeah. By the way. My name is John Paul Heinz. I'm the owner of this Cafe..." He sticks his hand out to me.
"But my friends call me J.P..." Then he smiles.
And now those bright green eyes are forever embedded into my mind....
