Him.

The cold air brushed against my olive skin.

Snow flakes brisk my shoulders as my old brown combat boots crunched on snow.

All was silent, yet my thoughts were loud.

I wrapped myself in my thicker black leather jacket my father left behind.

The breeze stiffened my legs in tight blue jeans.

My hair blew back in the winds shouts, leaving a trail of a long, thick, dark brown mess.

My red lipstick dried and cracked like ice on my lips.

My footsteps seem to fade behind me. Like everything else did. It seemed like whatever I touched died, whatever I did. Whatever I will and can do, just died.

There was no point for me. Everything I loved, my life. Gone in an instant second. Great people doing great things. Yet I was the one left behind. To suffering my own madness.

The wind called again.

"Andrea!" It laughed "I missed you!" Even in the coldest of weather I could feel Jake's warm hugs. It brought me back to when it was our first year of dating. The memories built on and on. It takes me back to when the air was cold like this. We seemed to be living in paradise, our warm souls mixed together. Being truly happy.

Christmas sweaters itched our skin. Wine bubbled in our mouths as we kissed and toasted to the New Years calling. Warm fires glowed on our eyes and faces as voices and Christmas jazz hung in the air. The smell of ginger and sweet cinnamon. The toasty feeling of looking into Jake's eyes. The deep sea of blue, his blonde swept hair went perfectly with his fair skin.

Oh I was living in Paradise.

The little store was closer now. As I approached it I felt warmer and warmer.

I finally step into the store.

Smells of past hit my face, bringing tears to my eyes.

I looked down, praying no one would see.

Something slammed into me. Another body.

Nice shoes, black skinny jeans, wide light brown coat with layers of clothing inside. Deep sea green eyes that set me away. A patterned bandanna, and dark brown curly hair. He held a bag in his hand. He smiled, meeting my eyes.

Then smirked.

"Uh. Sorry about that." He chuckled. His voice was so deep and raspy that made me queasy.

"It's okay." I hesitated. I haven't spoken to a human in months.

"Are you sure, you seem a bit shook up." An accent hinted his voice. Causing me to blush.

"No, really. I'm fine. Thank you." I look up and smile, his green eyes meeting with my light brown.

I walk past him.

"Darling, you forgot this." He turned around. He handed me a photo of Jake.

Shock filled me, I haven't seen that photo in months. When I reached out for it. He pulled it back. Analyzing it. Like he knew him.

He looked at me and laughed, he brought me in for a hug.

My eyes widen from the confusing gesture.

"You must be Andrea!" He hollered. "It's so nice to finally meet you!"

I smiled awkwardly. "Yeah that's me." I tucked a piece of hair behind my ear and chocked down a sob.

"Look, I'm really sorry." He said kindled like he knew I was going to cry "He never told me about you until I read a letter that was sent out to me by him, I came back to town to talk to his fam. They don't seem to be around. Eh. I'm his old friend from where he moved from. I'm Harry." He handed me the photo and put his hands in his pockets.

"Here let me." He paused. His phone buzzed. He pulled it out, it looked like he read something. His eyes grew dark. Which frighted me.

His mood changed so quickly.

" I need to go, he grew pale. I'll be seeing you. I know it." He turned around and walked quickly from the store.

Words replayed into my head as I stared at the photo

"I'll be seeing you. I know it."
