Xacery sat by your side his hand over your forehead "yup,your sick" he kissed your forehead chuckling,you groaned snuggling under the blankets more trying to hide your face "arnt you worried about getting sick from me?" You asked but xacery simply shook his head " no as a demon I don't get sick",he held a spoon to your face with a strange purple liquid in it "nooooooo......" your voice was scratchy as you refused to take the medicine,xacery gave you a stern look as he pinched your cheeks making your mouth open,he put the medicine in your mouth and you swallowed coughing a bit more"it tastes gross... " your voice sounded better but you still felt terrible,xacery sighed "well it's medicine,it's not supposed to taste good" he ruffled your hair "don't worry y/n soon you'll get better,but until then stay in bed and let me take care of you" he smiled and you smiled back nodding "ok good,now get some sleep"you listened to him closing your eyes,xacery looked around for the cat until he saw something move under your blanket "y/n.....?" you woke up "hmm?' He pointed to the other lump under the blankets "Oh that's the kitty,I'm naming him Nightmare" nightmare poked his head out of the blanket purring ,xacery grabbed nightmare "I'm gunna take him downstairs for a little bit ok"he didn't wait for an answers as he went downstairs with the cat "ok nightmare,let's get one thing straight,that's my human,not yours" nightmare yawned turning away "are you even listening to me.....why am I even worried,there's no way y/n loves a fat cat more than she loves me......right?" Xacery looked at nightmare with a worried glare "Oh no,what if he replaces me!?" Nightmare rolled on his back falling asleep,xacery went to his room pulling out cat ears and tail he was gunna give you "not on my watch!" he put the tail and ears on going to your room.

You opened your eyes hearing a rustle "x-xacery?" You're eyes widened seeing him in the cat ears and tail " pet me please"you laughed a bit petting his head as he leaned into your hand "why are you doing this silly?" Xacery flinched looking down embarrassed " I thought you were going to replace me with the cat..... " you sighed smiling warmly "get up here you big goof" xacery climbed up on the bed curling up with you,you petted his head smiling "id never replace you xacery,you know that"he nodded "I know...." Nightmare jumped on the bed laying down, xacery used nightmare for a pillow "mabey the cats not so bad,he's a great pillow" you giggled "ok now that your happy can I sleep?" he nodded again smiling at you as you were already fast asleep.

When you woke up you felt much better but it was the middle of the night,xacery was still using nightmare for a pillow,you smiled at them and got up turning the tv in your room on watching movies you turned your head seeing xacerys eyes slightly open, his piercing yellow eyes seemed to glow in the dark sending you into a trance,you both stayed like that staring into each others eyes silently until xacery reached out grabbing the remote from your lap turning the tv off,he closed his eyes going back to sleep,you say there for a moment a bit confused before laying back down going back to sleep a bit weirded out "ok then..?" you whispered.
