Ch. 6

A/N This is semi-important so please read this. I am going to try to update on Wednesdays or Thursdays, and this week I will be going on vacation so I will try to update but may not be able to. Sorry this is late.

Maria's p.o.v.

I changed back into my super-suit and went to with Storma to get her motorcycle once she got over the shock of Jason being my soulmate....... and yelling at me for not telling her..... and threatening to kill Jason and Lexie.

As we walked to the Legion's garage, Storma and I bumbed into Brainiac and Bubble Boy.

"Where are you two going? Is there an emergency?!" asked Brainiac since he is our unofficial leader.

"No, we're going back to Supergal's time period so I can beat Lexie Luthor and Jason Todd up, so MOVE!!!" retorted Storma with as much force as she could.

"Calm down Storma, no one's beating up anyone. We are just going to eat supper with my family." I stated calmly.

"Wait, what did that-"

"Brain!!!" BB cut Brain off.

"What?" Brainiac asked innocently.

"BOYS!!" I yelled at both of them, instantly silancing both of them. Usually I am calm collected and upbeat around my Legion friends. Then I added,"If you want to come with us bring your hologram rings to change your appearances since the Luthors are at my grandparents house. Now if your coming, hurry up!!"

"Okay, okay we're coming" said Bubbles.

Time Lapse

As we pull up to the house Grandma comes out to greet us.

"Maria, I thought you were going to Storma's." she said as we came up the steps.

"Change of plans Gradma." I replied as we walked into the kitchen with Brian(Brain), Bart(Bubble Boy), and Storma in tow.

"I thought you were leaving for the night Maria" Lexie said in a sickly sweet voice as we fixed our plates and sat down.

"Well I met Storma, Brian, and Bart on the road halfway to Storma's, so I invited them for supper." I replied in the same tone.

"Well at least there's something good to look at now." interjected Luth, also known as Lex Jr. He has had the hugest crush on me since one of uncle Bruce's galas when he asked me to dance because his father told him to. As he started to hit on me, Storma gave Luth and Lexie a death glare that rivaled Aunt Alex's.

"Keep hitting on my sister and you won't be able to see for a week." my older brother Conner said as he and his girlfriend Megan, a.k.a. Ms. Martian, sat down at the table.

I jumped up to hug both of them and Megan's ward Garfield before they sat while saying, "Long time no see big bro!"

"Yeah well, Roy told me about Jason's new girlfriend and I thought there might be a catfight." he replied plainly as I returned to my seat.

"Haha Conner." I replied in a sarcastic tone.

"Well Damian and I put money on who will win, sis. By the way, please loose. I've got $50 bucks riding on this." stated Jon as I sent him my best glare.

Lexie started to say something but Megan cut her off by saying, "Hello Megan! I completely forgot to get some of your famous fried chicken!"

"Well if you would stop interupting people and get up quietly, that would be nice." Lexie retorted snarkily to Megan.

"Well if you would realize were you are not welcomed and were your comments are not wanted, then that would be just peachy!" I defended Megan in the most sickly sweet voice.

"Well-" Lena started.

"Maria she is-" my grandma started at the same time.

"Don't worry I'll handle this." Jason inturupted both while getting up. Then he said the most shocking thing of the evening, "Maria a word please."

I stood up and was about to say something when he pulled me out of the room and up to his room

"Why are you-" I started when he crashed his lips against mine. I automatically pushed him away. I may hate Lexie but girl code is girl code. I slapped Jason and said in a low voice, "You have a girlfriend. You could have kissed me or told me you liked me but you didn't. You missed your chance, Jason."

Then I opened his window and climed out and came in the kitchen door, which no one dared question. I guess I had my murder face on. The guys told me about it once, but I didn't believe them.

Jason's p.o.v.

I dragged Maria upstairs to talk or yell or I don't even know, but then her lips were puffed out because she was mad, but before she could start yelling I kissed her. She pushed me away and said in one of her most threatening voices, "You have a girlfriend. You could have kissed me or told me ou liked me but you didn't. You missed your chance, Jason."

Then she climed out my window and left me alone, like I did for all of those years, and it hurt.
