Garroth stayed silent as the rude worker drove off. He sighed, "better finish shoveling, I guess."
He continued working, until he saw movement. He looked around, until he saw his brother.
"ZANE! OH, I'VE MISSED YOU, BROTHER! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? ARE YOU OKAY?"
Zane sputtered before pushing the male off him. "GET OFF ME! Who are you?! How do you know my name?!"
Garroth froze. "Zane... it's me. Garroth. Your brother."
"You are not my brother!" Zane laughed, "you look nothing like him!"
Garroth was at a loss for words. He broke down into tears, visibly startling Zane. He just couldn't stay strong anymore. He was beaten too badly with no one to support him. Garroth knew he was going to break eventually, but it still managed to shock him about how "weak he was being".
"I-I....already lost Y-Y/n, I can't... can't loose you, too! P-Please, Zane!"
Zane furrowed his eyebrows. "What happened to Y/n?"
Garroth wiped away his tears and tried to explain. Maybe he was just joking? After all, he remembered her. "W-We were l-looking f-for the t-two of y-you, and w-we found her u-unconscious in a cave..."
"W-What?! Brother said she was okay..."
"Who said that, Zane?!" Garroth asked frantically.
Zane didn't respond.
