Lavender, Violet, Adam, Harvard, Paisley, and Patsy moved the bed into the new bedroom, which was painted lilac with blue flowers. Lavender put her new blankets on her bed, and with the help of her friends, she set up her stuff in her new room.

"Wow, this is beautiful," Harvard smiled.

"Thanks," Lavender grinned.

Suddenly, Violet came in, holding two packages. "How do you like your new bedroom, sweetie?" Violet asked.

"It's great, Momma," Lavender smiled. "What do you have there?"

"Well, I went out and got you these," Violet declared. She handed her daughter the package that had light purple paper with a pink ribbon.

Lavender removed the ribbon and paper to find...

"A new journal?" Lavender asked.

"Yes, I thought you deserved a new one since your other one is full," Violet declared.

Lavender opened the front cover and read on the inscription, "Congratulations to Lavender on her graduation! Love, Momma."

"Don't thank me yet, honey—I also bought these," Violet said, handing Lavender the other package.

This package was wrapped with dark purple paper and a white ribbon. Lavender removed the paper and ribbon to find a brown box, inside which were some colored pens.

"Wow, thanks, Momma," Lavender smiled.

That night, Lavender was in her new bedroom. She was sitting on her bed, writing in her new journal. She still couldn't believe that Paisley read her previous diary and believed she was moving away. She hoped it would never happen again.
