When morning comes, Blaire is startled awake by Blake jumping onto her bed. "Ugh. Blake. I was having a good dream." Blaire complains, pouting. "Eh. I don't care. You have school. Get up and get dressed. Or you'll be late." Blake says, grinning. "Why do you look so happy?" Blaire asks, sitting up. "Because I have really good news!" He exclaims happily.

Blaire raises an eyebrow, staring at his grinning face. "What is this really good news?" She asks curiously. "I'll tell you after breakfast." Blaire groans, getting out of bed. "Get out so I can get ready." Blake gets out of her room, closing the door behind himself. Sighing, Blaire grabs her school uniform from her closet and walks into her bathroom to have a shower.

Blaire doesn't take long in the shower. She just washes her short black hair and cleans herself before getting out. After drying off, Blaire gets dressed and blow dries her hair so she can straighten it. Well. As best as she can since it's short. She keeps her hair shoulder length so it's easy to manage. After getting ready for school, she grabs her backpack and heads downstairs into the kitchen. "So. What's for breakfast?" She asks Blake.

"Pancakes and bacon." He says, passing her a plate and a mug of hot coffee. "You must be in a really good mood." She chuckles, sitting down at the table. "I really am." He says excitedly. "So. What's the really good news?" Blaire asks, starting to eat her breakfast. Blake grins.

"I got a job at GCPD!" Blake exclaims excitedly, sitting down next to Blaire. "Really? That's awesome, Blake." She says with a smile. Blaire knows how much Blake wanted a job at GCPD. He's wanted to be a police officer for years. "Yeah. I start today." Blake tells her. "So...I won't be home when you get back from school."

"Really? What am I supposed to do after school then? We always hang out in the afternoon." She says. "Go to a friend's house? I promise we'll be able to hang out in the weekend." He tells her. "Okay." She sighs, eating her breakfast. "Right. I've gotta get ready for work. I'll drop you off at school." Blaire nods, sipping on her coffee.

Once Blaire finishes her breakfast, she cleans up and walks into the living room. She sit down on the sofa and waits for Blake to finish getting ready. As soon as Blake is ready for the day, he comes into the living room. "Come on, Blaire bear. Time to go." He smiles. Blaire rolls her eyes, smiling as she stands up. She follows Blake out to the car, thinking of what to do after school.

Once they're both buckled up, Blake drives down the road smiling. "So. I've been thinking. Maybe it's time I take you to get your drivers license." Blake says. Blaire looks at him. "Really? You wanna take me to get my license?" She questions, smiling excitedly. "Yeah. You need to learn how to drive of course. And it would be good to give you a bit of freedom." He says.

"Wait. Are you suggesting this because you're sick of driving me around?" Blaire questions teasingly. "What? No!" He exclaims, chuckling. "Maybe. I do enjoy driving you around. But you need to drive yourself around when I'm busy at work and whatnot." Blake explains. "I guess you're right." She says. "I know, I'm always right." He says.

Blaire chuckles, smiling brightly at her older brother. When Blake pulls up at Gotham Academy, Blaire grabs her bag and gets out of the car. 'See ya later, Blake." She says before closing the door and walking towards the school doors. She smiles, hearing people chattering around her as she walks inside. "Hm. Maybe Milo could come hang out after school. Or I could get some movies to watch." She says to herself, mumbling.

"Oh wait. Milo has dance on Thursdays after school. I can't hang out with him anyway." Blaire sighs, walking to her locker. She has no idea what she'll do after school while Blake is working. Blaire grabs the books she needs and heads to her first period class. English. She likes English. Writing is one of Blaire's strengths.
