As The Days Go By

**Last Day**

"So Adeline, what are you doing for summer break" Mr. Beemer questioned, his eyes glued to me

"Why do you care" I snapped back hoping I wouldn't get detention

"I do, I really do care Adeline, I want to know if your making good choices over the summer" he chuckled and asked someone else

"Whatever..." I whispered loud enough so only I can hear

So this is basically the worst day of my life why you ask

Yeah yeah it's the last day of school envy it ,smile a bit, be happy

Well I can't because school for me ends next month

That's because I didn't earn enough credits so there putting me in summer school

What the fluff!

"So sweetie how was your day" my mothers voice sounded soft, as she shined her white smile

"Good" I murmured

"I'm sorry what!" my mothers voice cracked a bit

"Awesome, fantastical, adorbs, magic" I said sarcastically

"Okay?" my mothers voice was faint

As my mom continued to chop the vegetables I grabbed my jogging gear and headed out

I jog yeah who cares, I jog if I'm mad or ..... never mind

Jogging back to the house I see Mason Stevens my Ex-Boyfriend

"Hey beautiful" he laughed

"What the hell do you want" I hissed shocking him

"I just wanted to tell you that I'm in your classes for summer school" he giggled,

Yes he giggles I thought it was cute, but now it shatters my eardrums

"This food is amazing" my dad's voice said cheerfully

"Great to hear" my mother said smiling

"So Adeline how was your day" my dad's focus turned to me

"Hmmm" I hummed

"I said how was your day" my fathers smile widened

"Oh, great" I said swallowing the rest of my food, hoping I would choke

After dinner ended I went up into my room

brushed my hair, my teeth and then slipped on some Pajamas

After that I grabbed my favourite book a read it

I was on the last chapter to The fault in our stars man that story made me cry

I also wondered why men can't be like Gus

He's sweet, caring, funny, adventurous

And just plain cute

As I finished the book I turned off my light and went into a deep sleep
