"So, Brennen, how are you feeling?" Colby asked Brennen. "I'm feeling..." Brennen trailed off. 'How the FUCK am I gonna tell him how I'm feeling? I don't know how to describe it' He thought to himself. 'but whatever it is; it feels good' "I feel great Colby. Thank you for everything you've done" Brennen said as he flashed the boy a smile.
"No problem. If anybody gives you any more problems, let me know Alright?" Colby replied and looked at Brennen. "Alright" Brennen nodded as he felt his cheeks heat up. 'What the hell? I'm blushing?' Brennen thought to himself.
Colby chuckled once he noticed Brennen was blushing. "Are you Alright?" Colby asked with a slight smirk on his face. "Y-Yeah I'm fine. I'm just not used to feeling things" Brennen said with a sigh. "Really?" Colby asked curiously.
"Yeah. I was born with this thing where I feel little or no emotion. My mom was the same way until she met my dad. She always felt numb until she met him. She was then all happy and was able to feel every emotion there was...but he left and my mom became emotionless...she told me that when I meet a special someone, ill start feeling things..." Brennen said. "I know it's stupid"
"It's not stupid Brennen...it's kind of..sweet" Colby said with a slightly chuckle. "H-how?" Brennen blushed. "Well, it's always the same old thing. They meet, fall in love and that's it. But with you, it's special; it corrupts your emotional state. It's interesting" Colby replied and nodded.
Brennen was astonished. How did Colby not want to make fun of him for it? More important why wasn't Colby making fun of him? Brennen was baffled. "If that's how you want to put it" he said, still in awe of Colby.
"Well then that's how I wanna put it" Colby replied and smiled. Brennen laughed at his response. "Well that's a good way to put it"
