Steve's pov
I woke up on Tuesday morning feeling a bit off. It's probably from the night before when I was hanging with danny. Danny and I were up all night watching movies and drinking and eating popcorn. I didn't get to sleep until 4:30-ish. Danny didn't feel like driving home so I let him crash on the couch where he slept when he stayed with me. I get up out of bed and put on my daily clothes, a grey shirt with a nice Hawaiian button up over it, unbuttoned of course, and a pair of jeans and my black shoes. I walk down stairs to see Danny still sleeping where I left him "he's so cute when he sleeps" I say to myself. Wait, did I just call Danny cute, no, I can't think like this, he's my friend, and he might not feel the same. I walk over to Danny "Danno, danno" I say shaking him a bit "what commander mcgarrett" he says with an angered tone. I look at him "im sorry for waking you, but I have plans for just the two of us today, you know, let's have some bro time" Danny yawns "let me guess, you wanna go surfing" he says. I look down "yeah, that's if you want to go surfing with me" Danny walks over to me and holds up my face "hey now, I didn't say that I didn't like the idea, we can go surfing" he says. I have that grin that Danny calls My stupid grin  on my face. Our moment is interrupted when I get a phone call "mcgarrett, when, okay, we're on our way". Danny and I get into his car and I drive as usual. "are you ever going to let me drive my own car steven" Danny asks "not if you keep being a baby every time I drive danno" I reply.

Danny's pov
"Not if you keep being a baby every time I drive danno" Steve said to me. We arrive at the crime scene "what do we have here" I asked "Vic's name is Amanda Shawn, shes 29 years old, moved here when she was 6, and her only living family is her sister, laura" Kono says "wow, you got all of that already" I say "yeah, you guys took forever to get here, what happened". Steve looks over "oh just the usual" he says "youre lying, something must have been on your mind" Kono said. I looked at her "nothing happened Kono, I'm going to get back in the car babe" I say. Steve smiles "okay, be there in a bit".

konos p.o.v
We arrive back at headquaters "Hey chin, is it just me, or does Steve seem to like danny" chin looks at me "yeah, I noticed the way he looks at him, do you think he has a crush on danny" he asks me "its a possibility" i reply. Just then danny and Steve walk in "what do we have" Steve asks "we went through her credit card records and get this it was used at this gas station 20 minutes after she was was killed" i said. Steve shakes his head "ok, do we have a C.o.d" he asks "yeah, max said it was blunt force trama to the side of her head" chin said.

steves p.o.v
4 hours have passed since we found the victim. We have a lead on the murderer "Kono, go across and cut him off" I say. Later we catch up to him "kyle jones, you are under arrest for the murder of Amanda Shawn" i say. I look over at danny "book'em danno" i say smiling. I arrive back at HQ and see kono, chin, and max staring at me "what" i say. Kono walks up "Steve, we noticed the way you looked at danny all day, we were wondering if" she says "you like him" chin finished. I laugh "what. me like danny, no way" "oh really, i heard you made plans to go surfing with him, but it got interrupted by this case" max said. I sigh "okay, so what if I do like him" I say. Kono smiles "then tell him, you guys deserve each other". konos right, I did like danny. I planned on telling him tonight.

Danny's p.o.v
It was 9:00 at night. Steve was in the kitchen making us steak and potatoes. I found it weird that he was cooking us dinner, since he never has. It gives me some time to think. I've had this feeling about him since last night that I couldn't shake off. Do I like him. No I can't. He's my partner, but do i. I think I do. My thoughts get interrupted when steve walks into the living room with plates. He sets one down in front of me "I'll be right back" he says. He comes back with two drinks. "So, what's this about" i say taking a sip of my drink "I figured that since our surfing plans got ruined, i would cook us a nice dinner" steve says. I look at him "is that all, or is there something bothering you" I say after a couple minutes of silently eating. Steve looks up and whipes his mouth "actually yes, there is something else" he gets up and takes our empty plates to the kitchen, before he comes back I whipe my mouth. "Danny, come to my room, let's get ready for the night first". I put on some comfortable clothes and brush my teeth, steve puts on a pair of sweat pants and brushes his teeth. When we are finished Steve says "sit on my bed, we need to talk". I feel a bit confused but I do it anyway. Steve sits next to me "Danny, there's something I want to tell you" I look at him "okay, what is it" i say. Steve takes a deep breath "I like you danno".

Steve's p.o.v
"I like you Danno" is what I managed to get out. Danny just sat there staring at me. "you, you do" he finally says "yes danny, ive always loved you". To my surprise, danny smiles "I like you too steve" he says. I smile, did danny just say he likes me back. "So do you want to" "i would love to babe" danny says. I push danny down and get on top of him "I love you danny" I say "I love you too Steve". I lean down and start kissing him softly. This is a dream come true.
