Tanu's pov:

The mercury dropped as the night passed. I didn't have my blanket with me because it was packed in my suitcase. I just had a shawl with me. I was literally freezing and shivering. I was so tired that I slept at around 3 am.

I woke up at around 6:00 am and saw that I was covered with a jacket. It was Aarav's. He came here at night. Get ready for some scoldings Tanu. I got down and went to see whether everybody is up or not. I saw that everyone was up except for ma'am.
Good morning I wished everyone.

Anirved(An): Hi Tanu. Good morning.
Armaan(Ar): Good morning dear. How are you now? Yesterday night, you had turned into a tortoise. All clamped together due to the cold. You were shivering like hell. Why didn't you tell me you didn't have a blanket?
T(Tanu): Was I actually shivering that bad? Actually I had a blanket but it was in the suitcase so I couldn't get it out. But don't worry I am fine. Anirved, take Aarav's jacket I guess he gave it to me at the night.
An: Keep it with you. It's fine, he will take it later.
Ar: Tanu come sit. Will you have tea
T: No yaar thanks. Where is Okhi ?
Okhi: I am here. Good morning.
T: Good morning. Chalo let's sit.
Ar: I will go to Aryaman, he might be waiting there for me. He has called me almost 4 times now. I will return soon.

He was about to leave when he turned back and said,"Tanu take this bag of mine. I guess it misses your touch 😂😂😂😂."
T: That was a lame one Armaan... But anyways give me your bag 😁.

Anirved and all were talking about their college days how NSS camps were fun and how they miss those days. We all were laughing on an incident when Aarav came. Good morning everybody, he said and I turned to see him oh I was dying to see his face.

A(Aarav) : Dadar will come in around an hour. Our train is late. Did everyone have a sound sleep (he said this looking towards me )
An: Was this question for all of us or for someone in particular huh?

I just looked down to hide my blush.

A: I think everybody here knows who this question was for.

Why does he have to be bold always? Can't he shut up. I am having a tough time already.

T: Yaa I guess everybody did have a sound sleep. Aarav thanks for the jacket. Here take it.
A: Keep it with you. You need it more than I do. Can you make me some place to sit.

He came and sat besides me and put his hand on my shoulder.

T: Aarav, ma'am is sleeping right in front of us she might wake up anytime.
A: So what? Now even sir knows. What if ma'am also comes to know? It doesn't matter.
T: It does. I have to be in front of her the rest of the academic year. What will she think. I know she is open minded but still.
A: As you say madam. (saying this he removed his hand from my shoulder)
I really felt guilty for doing this.
T: I am sorry Aarav and thanks for understanding me.
A: Hey don't say sorry I completely understand chill it's fine.

I smiled at him. He is really understanding......lucky me.

We all started chit chatting. Dadar would come any moment now and bring an end to this beautiful journey. But this journey started one beautiful thing in my and Aarav's life. This journey gave a meaning to my life. I was taking a lot of memories back with me and I am gonna cherish them for life. It gave me some new close friends like Anirved, Armaan and Aryaman who I know will come running for me if there is any problem, who I know will support me in my bad times. And how can I forget this journey gave me the love I was looking for years AARAV. I was thinking all this when Dadar came.

Ahhhh.......no matter what happens a Mumbaikar will always be a Mumbaikar. We all got down and assembled at a corner. It was rush hour. Dadar station was as usual, crowded like anything. This is what I was missing. These local trains have become a part and parcel of my life. Can't really live without it. I was in my own thoughts when my phone rang. It was mom. Perfect timing mom......I think she can feel me wherever I am. I don't know how she comes to know everything. That's a mystery to solve in its self. Maybe I will solve it after I grow up more. I chucked my thoughts and picked up the call.

T: Hi mom.
M(mom): Hi Tanu where have you reached?
T: Mom you called at the perfect time. I just got down at Dadar station and was about to call you.
M: Good, now come home soon ok really missing you dear.
T: Yes mom. I will come soon bye
M: Bye gudi.

Once everybody got down from the train all the ex students had decided to have breakfast at a nearby joint. But as mom had already called, I had to reach home soon. She must be waiting. So I decided to bid a goodbye to everyone and leave.

I went to Anirved and he said everyone will be there in college day after tomorrow, they had some after tour work. I was more than happy that we all would meet again.
I saw Aarav waiting patiently. I went towards him and he pulled me aside. I could clearly see he was sad that the trip was over.

A: So finally you are going back home. Why can't you join us for the breakfast? At least later I will come to drop you.
T: Sorry Aarav, but mom is waiting otherwise I would have come with you all for sure. I will go by train. You know trains miss me as I haven't travelled in them for a while now.......and don't worry I won't let you miss me even for a second I will text you once I reach and then we can talk and talk.
A: But texting won't help because I won't be able to hear your sweet voice.
T: Then call me whenever you want we can talk on phone.
A: And don't worry I will come to meet you day after tomorrow. Take rest and then we will meet and we will go out somewhere you know lunch or something.
T: Ooh so is someone asking me out for a lunch date or something huh?
A: Well.... Ummm... You know I would be really honoured to take such a beautiful girl on a date, but this won't be a date. It will be a simple lunch because our first date will be the most special and the best.
T: I see no problem. I will wait for that special day when you ask me out for a date. You know it will be such a great thing to boast that the Aarav Khanna asked me out.
A: This Aarav Khanna has already lost himself in front of you so you anyways have won my heart dear. 😉
T: In that case, it's fine ( saying this I laughed 😂😂😂😂) chalo bye I will leave, otherwise my mom will start scolding me already 😂😂😂😂
A: Bye.....take rest ok and message me once you reach Borivali station and then when you reach home call me whenever you are free ok. Yes, one more thing, on friday when you come to college text me I think I will be there in the morning.
T: Yaa yaa I will text you and call you. Be there by say 11, cause on friday, I have the task of telling my friends about us. Adhira and Anurag don't know about this.
A: Let's tell them together na .....
T: Nice idea. But I'll do the telling part and later you can magically appear from the clouds.
A: Ok accepted.
T: Thanks😘 bye love you.
A: Bye.
