I'm guessing speaking your mind out in class is prohibited.
Currently I'm standing outside my Math class as a punishment for correcting my math teacher for this incorrect theory of her.
Her theory of π and how it was invented was very wrong. I raised my hand and explained how it was wrong in so many ways and told the correct story for it.
Turns out, our teacher was likely prideful cause from the moment I finished my explanation, she kicked me out of class.
Well, since my mom baked her special muffins this morning and how I hid some in my sweater, I can say I have no complaints whatsover cause atleast I could secretly eat some during class hour.
I turned both ways and assured myself if anyone was looking. Luckily, the hallway was purely empty and that no living thing was in sight. As soon as I proved that, I took a muffin out off my sweater and that's where it began.
I began eating.
Munch, munch, munch.
So good.
I got too into my muffin that my surroundings felt like nothing to me. It was just me, and my muffin.
"I can see you're enjoying yourself." I heard a somewhat husky voice. I flinched and raised my head. (mouth still full by the way)
"Joyce." I spoke.
"What the hell are you doing?" Jayce asked, smiling and looking at me like I was the funniest thing on earth.
"Eating." I answered.
"Why are you outside?"
"For..." I swallowed. "correcting my teacher."
"Of what?"
"Of her explanation of π... It was wrong, you see."
He chuckled. "You got guts then."
"What? Why?"
"For throwing off a teacher like that."
"I didn't throw her off." I took another bite. "I just corrected her mistakes."
"Same thing. If you were a teacher, and a student would question your lesson, infront of your students, then hell you'd be embarrassed."
I shrugged, looking at my muffin. "I think I'd rather feel grateful that I was corrected. I'd learn for the better if that was the case."
Jayce took a playful breath. "We'll you're different."
I shrugged again, taking another bite of my muffin.
"What are you eating anyway? A cupcake?"
"Woaffin." I corrected, mouth surrounded by crumbs.
"Is it good?"
I showed him my thumb as I took my time in nodding my head slowly, showing him how I just loved the taste of my muffin. "Oh, yeah."
Jayce took a step. "Can I have a bite?"
Like it was my most natural instinct, I hid my muffin with my left hand and moved it towards my chest. "Definetly no."
Jayce raised his brows. "Are you declining me?"
I nodded. "Very."
He took a loud breath. "This just makes me want to take a bite of that muffin more."
I took a step back as I shook my head. "No."
Jayce let out his hand. "Give it here."
I took a bite.
