Before I kick things off, how are you feeling about this interview? xx

Well pretty excited, I guess 😂, and pretty grateful that you're doing this.

Awww ❤️

What inspired you to write your story? xx

Well, since I began writing my story in 2011, I don't really remember what inspired it initially. I was just a high school student that wanted to write.

However, as I've written in my preface, the process was dreadfully slow. I kept getting new ideas, discarding draft after draft. I didn't get to finish the book 'till 2017, six whole years, and that got me thinking about what my characters felt during the writing process. Sure, they're fictional, but as a writer, they feel real to you, their emotions, their struggles, and everything else.

It was the prompt that got me to finish. I think that's how the final piece got a little too crazy 😂

I also watched a lot of anime and cartoons. That contributed, too 😋

Ooo, what sort of anime and cartoons (on an unrelated note)? xx

For cartoons, watched a lot of bubbly ones. Phineas and Ferb, Adventure Time, and Star Vs. Tho I think the main contributors in terms of inspiration are Gravity Falls and Steven Universe 😂

Anime was another thing. I got into the sad, dramatic spectrum such as Clannad, Angel Beats, Ano Hana... tho I got my fair share of slice of life and gore as well 😂😂😂
