Rooming Together

AJ's POV

I woke up around noon and saw Kaitlyn in the room. She was on her phone smiling, she didn't realize I was up.

"What's so funny?" I asked while getting up from bed.

"Oh sh-, nothing. You scared me AJ."

"Look I know I just woke up but I'm not that scary." I joked.

I'm so funny, I should be the joker.

"Well I'm gonna go down to the gym." I said.

I got ready and headed down.

When I got back from the gym Kaitlyn wasn't in the room, I looked around and saw a note on the table.

"Hey, something came up and I have to go. But don't worry about me I'll be back later. Love you. ~ Kaitlyn."

I read the note and put it down.

Okay than.

I showered and then started to watch a movie.

My day off and this is what I'm doing.

Kaitlyn's POV

I felt bad for not telling AJ about this but I know she wouldn't approve. Either way I would've still done it, so really I saved us an argument.

I'm doing us good, right?

"Alright we're here." Dean spoke as he parked the car.

We both got out the car and he lead me into the restaurant.

We got seated and started talking.

"Dean this place is amazing. Thanks for bringing me here." I said.

"No problem. Anything for you." He said, causing me to blush.

I don't understand why AJ doesn't like Dean, I mean he's actually a great guy!

Eventually we went back to the hotel and he invited me to his room and who was I to argue?

Seth wasn't in the room so it would just be us two.

"I guess Seth is with Roman or AJ." Dean explained.

"Probably AJ." I chuckled, "Thanks again for tonight I had a great night."

"You're welcome. So does that mean...?" Dean asked.

"Yes, Dean. We're together."

"Score." he said acting like the dork he is.

He gave me a big hug and leaned in to kiss me. I kissed back and you know what happens.

AJ's POV

I woke up and saw I was by myself.

"Kaitlyn is still not back?" I thought to myself.

Where the hell is she? It's her day to make breakfast!

My phone started ringing, it was Stephanie.

"Hello."

"Good morning AJ! I'm just calling you because I have some big news."

"Oh, okay. What is it?" I said excited.

Please don't involve Seth. Please don't involve Seth.

"You and Seth are gonna be rooming now."

Just my luck

"But I- I already room with Kaitlyn." I explained.

"Yes yes, we know. That's why Kaitlyn will be rooming with Dean." Stephanie said.

"Ohh, okay. Great!" I said because I have no other choice. We hung up.

There was a knock on the door, I went to answer it and it was Kaitlyn.

"Oh now you show up." I said.

"I'm sorry. I got caught up and-"

"That doesn't matter. Where were you?" I asked cutting her off.

"Oh, about that I-" she was cut off by another knock on the door.

Ughh.

Kaitlyn sighed with relief, I looked at her confused, she just gave me a smile back.

It was Seth at the door.

"Oh, it's you." I said. I admit Seth is growing on me but I still don't like him.

At least I think I don't.

"Well, is that anyway to speak to your new roommate?"

Don't remind me.

"Roommate?" Kaitlyn asked.

"Didn't you get the call? I'm rooming with AJ now and you're gonna be rooming with Dean." Seth explained.

Kaitlyn checked her phone and saw.

"Ohh." she spoke, "Wait so I'm rooming with Dean?"

"Yea. I'm so sorry." I said.

"Don't be!" she said smiling.

Wait, what?

"You're excited about it?" I asked.

"Yea! That's what I was trying to tell you. I went on date with Dean yesterday and we're a thing now." Kaitlyn said.

I looked at her shocked.

"That's where you were?! With Dean? It's Dean!"

"He's not that bad." Seth said.

"Stay out of this!"

He raised his hands in defense.

"He's actually very nice once you get to know him." Kaitlyn said.

"So, what? You guys are a thing?!"

"I guess so. Yea." She smiled.

I stormed out of the room.

I haven't been up for 2 hours and today is already horrible!

Okay, maybe I over reacted. But I don't want her getting hurt.

I go up to the room seeing most of Kaitlyn's things out the door and all of Seth's things in her spot.

Right, switching rooms.

Kaitlyn looked at me.

I smiled.

"Look, I know I overreacted. I just don't want you to get hurt. But as long as you're happy that's all that matters. I hope you two are happy together! And I'm.. sorry."

She smiled.

"Oh AJ, it's fine. I probably would've done the same. Thanks for apologizing, I know you don't like saying sorry. But I'm sorry too, for not telling you about Dean."

I hugged her and she hugged back.

"Well looks like I'm rooming with Seth." I said annoyed.

"Eh, you'll get used to it."

We both looked over at Seth who was making a mess in the kitchen.

"Or maybe not. Good luck. Love you." Kaitlyn said as she walked out the room to go to her new room with Dean.

Good luck to me, I'll need it.
