I woke up to Emma's yelling, mental note don't give your best friend the spare key.
I groaned as she lectured me about how getting up at a specific time helps mental capacity or something. But honestly All I cared about was the fact that I had today off.

"Why are you here so early?" I complained covering my head with the pillow.

"It's 3pm and we need to get ready for the party tonight, plus I promised your mom we would go look at dresses for your Quinceañera."

This statement only peeved me off even more, my mom was planning this big party that I didn't even wanna go to. I even tried telling her that pizza and a bond fire would be way cheaper but she insisted.

"I'm not even fully Columbian, isn't it illegal to do this." I muttered slipping on a pair of shorts and a tank top.

"Get over it. And trust me you'll be thanking me later I did get you a really hot date to Kel's party." She smiled pleased with herself as she skipped out the door.

Morning people.

Dress shopping was a bust, I didn't find anything I liked and also didn't care. This party tho, was going to be fun. It's the first party since we got out of school and everybody was going to be there. I had texted Jake the directions and quickly started to get dressed. I had put on my favorite pineapple shorts and a plain white crop muscle tee that tied in the middle. I paired it with wedges and put my unmanageable curly hair into a sock bun.

When we arrived to the party we were immediately handed red solo cups. Emma quickly downed hers and I handed her mine, somebody had to drive home tonight. I smiled as the whole baseball team from East Meck walked thru the door. Like I said everybody was going to be here, from schools all across the county.

Me and Emma were dancing and having a good time when someone tapped on my shoulder. I turned around to a sober jake and a nearly destroyed Ricky. I laughed at his state and hugged Jake, this being the only way we could hear each other over the loud music.

We eventually left Ricky and Emma together to dance and went outside to talk. A few drunk teenagers roamed the yard almost as if they were zombies. Me and Jake sat on the two lawn chairs that had been thrown across the yard watching the intoxicated people and talking about different stuff.

I realized that it was pretty late and that it was past my permits curfew so Jake drove us home. He agreed to stay seeing it was really late and Ricky was in no shape to make the ride. I made rocky a pallet in the floor and Jake took the bed. I grabbed them two tooth brushes and some sweat pants leaving them until the morning.

Yes I'm sorry this chapter was short and sucked. I'm better at writing when I'm listening to 'The 1975' and I can't find my head phones so I had to write without music. And second it's really hard to write until I get into like the real action and emotion which will be soon I promise. So vote, read, comment do whatever and look for another chapter today or tomorrow. :)

P.s. It's 5:30am. Good morning.
