Chapter 9: Black Shield

~Elsa's P.O.V~

I was about to go to the stairs when I heard a voice calling my name "Elsa?". I froze and looked back at the door I noticed the door knob was turning it means he heard me.

I quickly went down stairs. I looked for a door to escape. I kept walking until I found a door at the very end. I ran towards the door I opened it and closed it when I left.

I smiled at myself I was now outside of his lair. The problem is where would I hide? I noticed there were some tall trees it looks like a forest. I looked up at the sky it was still dark.

This is now my chance to escape. I quickly ran through the woods never looking back. I decided to hide behind a tree I just hope he wouldn't see me here.

My heart was beating like crazy and I felt like I'm about to pass out but I tried my best not to. I remained silent so that he thinks I'm now gone out of sight.

~Pitch's P.O.V~

I woke up from my sleep I realized Elsa was not with me anymore. I stood up and went towards the door. "Elsa?" I called out her name. I didn't hear her voice my eyes widen in shock.

My jaw clenched and my fists balled between my sides. I went out of my room and looked for her everywhere in my lair. I didn't find her maybe she was outside. I went outside of my lair and I stood there for a moment.

I wonder where she is? After a few minutes of thinking I finally realized where she is. A smirk grew from my lips as I thought of her hiding somewhere behind the tall trees.

I went towards the tall trees to find her. I could feel her heart beating fast I could tell she was so scared that I might find her and she might not escape from me.

Because of her that thought made my smirk grew more. "No more hiding I know where you are, Elsa" I said touching the trees. I snuck up at a tree where she was hiding.

She immediatly gasp when I touched her shoulder. "Please, just let me leave" she said stepping back. I gripped her arm tightly and my jaw clenched.

"You will never ever escape from me, do you understand?" I said to her in a dark tone which made her whimper. "Pitch, you're hurting me" she said wriggling her arm out of my grip.

I ignored her and replied "Let's go". The both of us faded into darkness and the both of us went back to my lair.

I created a black shield around my lair so that she can't escape from me again. "W-what are y-you d-doing?" she said stepping back until her back hit the wall.

"I made a black shield around my lair in order for you not to escape from me" I said to her with a clever grin.

Elsa whimpered and she slid her back down the wall. She pulled her knees to her chest and she started crying softly.
