Part 7: Training for the Sports Festival

Sitting up in bed you turn to the small clock on the table beside you bed, the red letters read  '6:00', swinging your legs around to the edge of the bed stretching your arms before standing up and grabbing the clothes you had on last evening walking out of the bedroom and over to your kitchen area of your dorm room opening the fridge.

(Y/N):  "What should I make for breakfast?" Picking up a package of bacon and an egg. "Maybe some bacon and eggs." Turning around you see a familiar red and white head on your couch, confused for a second before remembering last night.

(Y/N): "I guess I should make some for him as well, maybe he'll come train with us."

*Short time skip for food to cook*

Walking over to where Todoroki is laying you reach down and poke his shoulder, which makes him jump a little before sitting up and rubbing his eyes confused where he is for a second.

(Y/N): "Sorry for waking you, but I was wondering if you wanted some breakfast, I just cooked it, just some bacon and eggs."

Todoroki: "Sure." 

You walk back over to the kitchen area putting some eggs and bacon on two plates and pouring two cups of tea walking back and setting the plates and cups on the table in front of the couch sitting down setting a fork down beside Todoroki's plate.

(Y/N): "The rest of the class is gonna train down at the beach nearby for the Sports Festival, it'll be stuff like sparring and running ,you comin', Shoto?"

Todoroki: "Maybe.." Takes a bite of one of the eggs. "I guess I could use some training." 

(Y/N): "Great, I'm sure it'll be fun" Turning you put your legs over the armrest of the couch laying back with your eyes closed. "So, Todo?"

Todoroki: "Todo?" He looks at you confused

Putting your hands behind your head. "Yeah, Todo, since we're gonna be best friends I decided to give you a different name."

Todoroki: "I wasn't aware that we were best friends."

You put your hands up in the air. "Heck, after we hugged last night we're basically dating now." You jokingly say.

This causes  Todoroki to choke on his food a little not understanding it's a joke. " What?"

Sighing deeply. "Well, I was only joking about that, forgot you're a bit too serious."  You say laughing.

Todoroki's face turned a little red from embarrassment. "Sorry."

Moving your legs back around and sitting cross legged shaking your head. "You don't need to apologize, I probably should have made it a bid more obvious until you get use to my sense of humor." Standing up stretching. "We should go down to the beach, be a little early."

Todoroki: "Alright." Standing up walking over to your door.

You walk into your room and grab your phone and wallet before walking to your door and grabbing your keys locking the door behind the two of you, half an hour later you're laying on the beach next to Todoroki who sitting with his knees up against his chest and his arms on top of them resting his chin on them.

Laying with your eyes closed. "Say, Todo, how come you don't use your left side like you do your right?"

Todoroki: "Because the fire side is born from my old man's quirk."

(Y/N): "Isn't that gonna hold you back though, only using half of your power as opposed to someone like say, Bakugo who goes with every bit of strength he has?"
