Part 9: The Sports Festival: Part 2

Sitting against a wall in a dimly lit hallway you lay your head on your knees, the silence is welcoming after spending so much time around so many people, sighing deeply. "It's unnerving being around people for so long without a break, thankfully it won't be too much longer and I can go back to the dorm, just a few more hours." Suddenly you feel a slight stream of tears slide down your cheek. "I wonder if they'd be proud of what I've been able to do in UA so far."

???: "(Y/N), are you okay?"

Startled by the sudden voice you look over to see who it was, seeing a familiar bi-colored hair boy looking back at you with the slightest bit of concern on his face when he notices your eyes are a bit wet from tears before he walks over sitting down beside you.

(Y/N): "Yeah, I'm fine, Todo, just feeling a bit...emotional right now, that's all."

Suddenly you feel Todoroki put his arm around you. "There's nothing wrong with that, especially for what you have to deal with."

(Y/N): "I know, but I try not to let anyone know about it,I don't want to bring the others down, but I am thankful that I can open up to you, it helps to keep the mask of being fine with the others."

Todoroki's face turns slightly red, but it's not noticeable in the dimly lit space.

Meanwhile while this is going on there Toru is walking through the hall looking for you, seeing the dimly lit hall in the distance. "Maybe (Y/N) is there, he was looking for somewhere to sleep." walking towards the hall poking her head around the corner to see if you're there seeing you and Todoroki she quickly pops her head back forgetting that she's transparent, giggling to herself before quietly running back to the group of friends who're watching Midoriya's match which is starting shortly.

Wiping your eyes and taking a deep breath. "Todo, you should go prepare for your match against Seto, it'll be time for it before you know it."

Todoroki: "If you feel like this again let me know, okay, (Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "I will, I'll be cheering for you to win your matches though, and I'll make sure to be in the stands to watch, too." You give him a small smile and a thumbs up.

Taking his arm off your should he stand up. "Thanks, I'll be cheering for you, too, make sure you get to the end so we can fight." before walking off to the waiting room.

*Small time skip for you to walk to the stands where Class 1-A sit*

Sitting down in one of the seats beside the rest of your friends.

Toru: "How was your sleep, (Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "Oh...uh...I wasn't able to sleep." Laughing a little rubbing the back of your neck. "But it's fine, I'll just find time later."

Toru giggles. "Alrighty."

Looking towards the middle of the stadium you see Todoroki and Seto walking out.

Toru nudges your side. "I bet I know who you're cheering for, (Y/N), Todoroki, right?"

(Y/N): "Well, considering both of us have felt his Right side first hand, it'd be foolish to hope for Seto." You blush slightly, hoping no one notices it. "Plus, Todo is my best friend, so I have to support him."

Toru: "That's true." Sounding a bit down. "We got beat really fast, I feel bad for Seto."

Down on the field Seto shoots his tape to trap Todoroki only for Todoroki to send a wave of ice  freezing him almost completely, winning the match, walking over towards Seto to unfreeze him. "Sorry, I let my emotions get the better of me."
