Louis sat on the curb, his fast-growing fringe swept to the side. The cool night chilled his small figure. The sun was seconds away from being completely out of sight.

"What are we waiting for?" his small, shaking voice said against the breeze.

"Shhh, look up or else you're going to miss it." the curly boy said, his curls blew to the back of him slightly as another breeze hit them.
They sat there, looking at the night sky. "My mum's going to be worried sick if this 'thing' doesn't happen soon Harry," Louis said glaring at the boy from the side, still looking up.
Minutes passed and the 'thing' still never happened, Louis was growing eager to see but it never came.
Then, suddenly billions of stars showed up as if someone flicked the lights off. Louis' jaw dropped, he was speechless, how can that happen in less than a minute?
"See? wasn't that worth the wait?" Harry said, slightly chuckling at the sight of Louis' amazement. They sat in silence, the lampposts flickered and shut off, leaving the stars to light up their faces dimly.
"You're my best friend, Louis. You're the one person I could trust. That's why we're going to be best friends forever, right?" Harry asked, his emerald eyes gleaming against the stars. Louis' eyes stared into his, a soft smile approaching his mouth.
"Of course Harry, best friends forever," he assured in the same soft tone. Louis pulled Harry into a tight hug, as the stars outlined their figures.
