However, I failed to see the man stood across the road with a furious expression etched into his features. I failed to see the gun he held in his hand, and I failed to see him aim at us.
Third person pov
The sickening sound of a gun shot rattled through the air. The happiness that both men felt not so long ago; completely shattered.
The silver bullet, piercing the males skin. Ripping into his body. The horrifying bang from the shot, just starting to fade.
They looked one another in the eyes. One man cried out for the other, blood cascaded down his front. He fell to his knees. Weak. Losing blood; quickly.
The mans only thought was now he could save the other. He ripped his shirt and applied pressure, while he rang for emergency services. He whispered to the other, not letting him see the tears that threatened to spill.
The ambulance arrived and carried the injured man into the back, with the other following behind. The went as fast as they could. Trying to save his life.
They arrived at the hospital, and rushed the male into the operation room, needing to extract the bullet. He tried to enter with them, but wasn't allowed.
So he sat. Waiting. Waiting for his loved one to come out ok. Waiting for the one he needs to survive. Needing him to pull through.
He waited, on the cold, hard chairs in the waiting room. He listened out for any mention of the others name. He needed the other to save him.
He needed the other to save him from himself.
It was then, after three and a half hours, that the doctor walked out and called his name. The male rushed to his side, hoping for any news on the injured male.
"I'm sorry but his heart stopped. He was flat lined when we got him in. There was nothing we can do."
It was in that moment, that Taehyung dropped to the floor. Landing on his knees with a heavy thud, tears gushed down his face.
His prince. His knight in blooded armour. His kidnapper.
Dead. For good?
