Princess duties: Vampire Edition

Chap. 6

It has been 4 days since Mrs. and Mr. Dracul arrived in this realm. I introduced and helped the loving family enjoy their first burgers. When Paris bit into hers and started groaning. I just knew that she liked them. 

But when she started explaining how she felt about the burger. It gave me a new perspective on that specific popular food item.

"This is delicious. The way the bun is so lightly toasted. The meat is perfect. With the freshness of the lettuce and tomatoes, the overall tastiness of this burger is at a level nothing else can touch. Xavi we need to get these every day."

I have underappreciated burgers.

Today, Paris and I are hanging out with Life and Oregon. Yesterday we couldn't hang out because Oregon was on a date with Conner, the guy she was staring at lunch! Apparently their first date on Friday was canceled?

I put on my new black shirt Mrs. Carly got me. Threw on some dark blue skinny jeans that was set on France's bed for me. Just as soon as I was putting on my vans I could hear Paris yell.

"Xavier we need to hurry up, I don't want to miss anything!

"I am coming down right NOW!" I exclaimed back as I was leaving Paris's room.

I went downstairs and hugged Ms. Carly. She and Mr. Dracul have been like a real family to me in these last few days. I just love them. It's been a long time since I have felt like I've had a true family.

"Have fun!" Ms. Carly shouted excitedly.

"We will!" Paris and I said in unison.

We have walked over to Life's house which is only eight houses away from Paris's. We made it there in 20 minutes. They both weren't at school on Friday but sent us her address in the group chat.

As soon as we were in the yard, I heard the smashing of plates?

"No! Leave us alone, WE DON'T WANT TO LEAVE WITH YOU!" We heard Life scream. Paris was already running inside as I stopped being shocked and ran in with her. The door was unlocked.

Looking around the house I went towards the commotion.

"Listen here Thing, King Jeremiah wants you. And your best friend here won't leave without you so she's coming too. We can do this the easy way or the hard way, PICK!" Mean girl Jezebel hissed in her extremely high voice. Jason and Troy were holding Life and Oregon, who were struggling hard against their grips with their hands over their mouths. It's only them and Jessica. I guess that everyone else in their group has something to do.

They didn't see us. As soon as I was about to speak up Paris walks from out of the shadows and talks with innocence in her voice.

"Hi, I am Paris, the new girl at school and these are my friends. So I will ask nicely only once, please let go of them, or I will hurt you." She said sweetly. It was scary.

"Aww, What's the little girl going to do? Hit us with words!" Jason said mocking, while trying to keep Life to stop struggling. She was kicking him but he wouldn't budge.

"I'm so scared!" Jessica said dramatically, making me get angry. How are dare they insult Paris? I get wanting to hurt me since I am a mistake but not Paris. I lunged from out of the shadows and hit Jessica in the face. I might not be the strongest but I definitely have some muscle on me.

"Ohhh another person to deal with!" Jezebel hissed. I kept hitting Jessica which was surprisingly easy. I heard a loud bang as something hit the ground. I looked over to see Paris fighting Jezebel and winning.

Punches were thrown and we beat their asses. I haven't stood up to these bullies since they've started torturing me. Taking my anger out on this pitiful girl was therapeutic. This kept going until everyone heard this,

"Ahhhh! She bit me." Jason shrieked as he dropped Life. Troy dropped Oregon before she could do the same and ran to check out his hand.

Oh, Troy Smith. Doesn't his name just give you shivers? Captain of almost every sport at our school, Rig De Mione High. And he is the hottest guy in the school. A total player but is currently dating Jessica! I have had a crush on him since middle school. Nobody knows so don't tell anyone. Shhhh!

"Oregon, Paris, and Xavier! Let's go now." Life screamed as we all got up. Troy was Jason were to worried about him bleeding then the two beaten sisters gasping for air on the ground. Running out of Life's house and to the movies. Life got onto her motorcycle. Yep, you heard that right, a motorcycle. And strapped on her helmet.

"Ok. We will explain all this later, but as of right now we need to leave!" Oregon said while getting on the back of Life's motorcycle. She snapped on a backup pink helmet Life had.

"What do we do?" Paris asked Oregon while walking to get away from the house. They might try and hurt us now too.

"Let's go to movies like we were going to they can't take us in public place. And we have already paid for the tickets. We need to go now!" Oregon said while zooming away. She was right on time because Troy, Jason, and the fake sisters were storming out of Lifes house. Everyone having injuries except Troy. They were going really slow!

I got on Paris's back, and she ran away fast. Not 'Hi, I am a vampire' fast, but 'I used to run track' fast. She ran all the way to the movie theatres which actually wasn't that far! When we came to the entrance We looked for Oregon and seen Life.

"Oreo already got the drinks and popcorn. She went to save our seats," She put her hand out "I have the movie tickets. Here you go." I took them, grabbed Paris's hand and walked to the correct seeing area. I waved down Oregon and proceeded to sit next to her. The movie started.

I tried not to worry about the safety and the group that tried to kidnap my friends and enjoy the time I had with them.
