Princess duties: Vampire Edition

Chap. 7

P A R I S

We just finished the movie. It was exquisite! I never knew that there is such a thing as actors, actresses, scripts, plots, and a whole lot of stuff that Xavier didn't tell me about. It is crazy what humans can do with their spare time. Well not all humans, I saw some vampires in that movie. I wonder why nobody questions why Brad Pitt looks so good for his age.

Let me tell you he is really old. l mean older than my great-grandpa, old.  

as Life, Oregon, Xavier and I left the movie theatre cautiously looking for the almost teen-nappers. I am super confused about this entire situation.

As if Xavi read my mind. He speaks.

"I would just like to know why and what was happening with you? It would help us understand the severeness of this situation." Xavier asks the two girls. I look at them too. They nod in sync. As soon as Life opens her mouth, someone yells.

"Over here!"

I look at the commotion and notice Troy and the others. Uh oh. Life looks scared.           

"Ok, listen. Follow us." Life says as she rushes out as she gets to her motorbike. Oregon follows her intently. "And hurry." I had to think fast.

The words Let's go rang through my head as I looked at Xavier.

I felt Xavier jump onto my back again. He read my mind. Troy on our tails as we take off on the sidewalk. We follow Life as she rides off. She rides a little slower than before, probably to let me know where she is going.

They don't need to do that but she doesn't know. I run swiftly with my vampire speed as she rides to this house a pretty little house, a few houses down from Life's.

"Get inside. Fast." Oregon commands, and everyone follows suit.

Xavier and I rush in without hesitation. Life arrives mere seconds after us. For a short bit, Oregon was still outside. I peek at her through the front window by the door with narrowing eyes. And notice Oregon moving her hands. But she does it inconspicuously, I wouldn't have been able to see her movement if I didn't have my vampire sight.

Seconds after I see this deep green aura surround the house. My mouth drops open but shuts quickly as she approaches. Locking the door behind her. I turn to Xavier who was having a serious conversation with Life.

Fruity pebbles vs Cocoa pebbles.

And Of course, Life and Xavier are on opposite sides of the argument.

"Fruity Pebbles, I mean come on. They cost more, they don't have chocolate in them, and they are less sweet making them the worst." Life states.

"But Cocoa Pebbles! You can do better than chocolate mush. Fruity pebbles are so good that they cost more. Their fruit taste is awesome and they don't get as soggy as fast." Xavier argues back.

"Cocoa Pebbles Are way better." Oregon adds while walking up to us.

"Sorry. But I had Fruity Pebbles and they are pretty spectacular." I admit joining Xavier's side of the conversation. This argument goes on for about 10 more minutes until everybody burst out laughing when Life said Fruity pebbles smell like Fruity puke.

But then the surroundings got silent.

"Explanation please." I plead while looking at them trying to trance one of them to get all of the truth. I stood up over by Oregon to let her know this was serious. Xavier face turns to stiff.

Life and Oregon look at each other before speaking.
