*Brief Author's note. (c/o/c) means car of choice. Everything else is the same. Enjoy~

A name changed everyone's life. I mean this, not even joking at all. The name wasn't your own though part of it had a chance to be. I'm talking about your soul mate's name that was tattooed on your forearm and disappeared when you shifted your arm slightly.

And the name on my arm?

Dean Winchester.

Yep, his name has ran through hunters' talk, the news and the CB radio.

And he's dead. Again.

I didn't mind having this 'hunting God's' name on my arm, I hated the occasionally remarks of people who were in the community and got a glance.

"Ah, poor soul. You'll be cheated on, be warned."

"Oh, I'm so sorry you're matched with that dog."

"Welp, that relationship will burn on the ceiling like their mother." I socked that last guy in the face so hard he broke, he wasn't able to walk straight for weeks.

I was at a diner, sipping a chocolate milkshake and finishing off my fries when the bells hanging above the small glass door jingled. My ear twitched, trying to figure if it was a threat or not.

"I'm telling you Dean, stopping now is going to make this worse, not better," a tall man hissed, as he sat to my left. I scanned the newspaper as I listened in. When he said that name, I choked on my fry and slammed my fist into my chest, loosening it.

"Dean?" I whispered, glancing to the side to see the taller one looking at me concerned.

"Are you okay?" he asked, his hazel eyes locked onto my (e/c) ones.

"Yeah, my uh younger brother was named Dean, is all," I lied smoothly, looking everywhere except the other, shorter hunter next to him. I could tell these were the famous Winchesters, Sam's luscious mane glowing in the fluorescent lights and the older one's famous necklace.

"Was? Oh, I'm sorry," Sam said, his face pinkening.

"Growth is painful," I quoted, slamming a 20 on the bar and hurriedly grabbing my black leather jacket. "Nice to meet you two." I called allowing a tense nod to the shorter one and still not meeting his eyes.

"Wait, I'm Sam and this is my brother Dean. You live around here?" Sam asked, spinning on the bar-stool. His legs splayed out in front of him and his eyes scanning me up and down.

"Nope, here to escape my brother's clutches of my town," I rehearsed, sounding poetic on purpose. I left.

In my (c/o/c) I let out a sigh of relief. He didn't know me and I didn't see him. Good. I pulled the newspaper I had slipped out of diner and shook it open.

"Here Wendigo Wendigo, (y/n)'s gonna get cha," I sang, zeroing in on an article of killed campers in a nearby forest.

Armed with my salt filled shotgun and silver knife, I ventured into the woods, grabbing at the peridot pendant around my neck. I gulped and sighed out.

"Hey! Evil cannablistic killer! (y/n)'s here! Come and get her!" I screeched, scanning around the dark forest. A noise alerted me to behind and I spun, heels locked, gun cocked and aimed at the intruder.

Or, shall I say, intruders.

"Sam?" I hissed, my face scrunching up, "What are you and Dean doing here, this is my hunt!"

"So, you lied to us," Dean said. I refused to look into his eyes which were probably swimming with fury.

"About my little brother Dean, yes. We didn't even talk long enough for me to lie about anything else," I insisted, throwing my gun down and picking a stick up. I drew a big circle and sat in the center.

"Why would you lie about that?" Dean asked, coming to stand in front of me. I didn't look up.

"In this line of profession? Please tell me you're joking," I scoffed, examining the shotgun and sighing as I placed it next to me.

"Dean," Sam warned.

"Well now you and Sam are going back to the Impala and leaving," Dean insisted.

"No," I haughtily hissed. Dean then grabbing my arm and wrenching me to my feet. I yanked my arm out and pointed it at his chest.

"Don't touch me," I snarled, before pointing the gun to the side and shooting the Wendigo watching the show. "I'm leaving." Keeping my gaze to the ground I left the circle. A hand spun me around and my eyes met the brightest, greenest eyes I've ever seen.

Everything shifted into focus. Snapped into place and made my heart sing. The heat from his hand caused me to lose my train of thought and I melted, wanting to rest my head against his warm chest. I wanted to kiss him and run my fingers through his brown locks. And - oh God - his freckles. He had freckles.

"(Y/n)?" he whispered, face draining of any anger he held moments before.

"I, yeah. I was hoping I wouldn't meet you," I said, glancing away.

"Why?" his brow puckered.

"'Cause you're a player, Dean. I don't like players," I viciously snapped, shoving him and not looking in his eyes.

"You're my soulmate. You'd think I'd hurt you like that?" he scoffed. I met his eyes and the anger and arrogance faded.

"My own mother threw me into a lake with a rope tied around my wrists. You think I'd think you'd be any better?" I asked softly. He stepped forward and pushed a strand of (h/c) hair behind my (s/c) ear.

"Yes," he breathed before connecting his lips with mine. Electric sparks flew and I wrapped my arms around his neck. I broke the kiss and leaned up towards his ear.

"One chance then Dean Winchester. You screw up and I leave," I whispered, kissing his jaw as I rocked back on my heels. His hands were wrapped around my waist and he pecked my forehead.

"Oh darlin', I can assure you that you will be treated like a freakin' queen," he bellowed before picking me up and swirling me around.

Sam had long since been gone, opting to go to the Impala, crack a beer open and lean across the hood. The barest hint of a smile crossing his face.

I'm just great, aren't I?

Just kidding. So if you guys are tired with reading those pesky (y/n)s like why-ens then I suggest you download this internet extension called Interactive Fics! Its nice and I use it when I'm reading fanfiction on my laptop.

Okay that's it. Bai!
