Draco's P.o.V.
There I was, about to get on the train, when I saw Mickey. She looked nice in her jean shorts and a tank top. Once, we used to be best friends but she started hanging with the Weasleys, Potter, and Granger. How could she pick them over me? Sure, we write over the holidays and see each other in the hall but it's not the same. I walk over and start talking to her when her sister, Sandra; who doesn't remember me till I pick her up, says " Mickey, is this the boy you said was kinda cute over the summer?" Of course, Mickey turns a deep red and stammers that she had never said that, but I knew that was a lie when her sister started singing a song about me while bouncing on my arms. I put her down because I almost died when she called her Mickey Mouse.
I ask her if she likes me, causing her to turn a deeper shade of red and gather some of her brothers and sisters before quickly jumping onto the train without even looking back. I smirk because I knew what she was thinking. She so likes me.My day was going great until Pansy walks up to me and grabs my hand. "Drakie! I've been looking everywhere for you. I just had to see my boyfriend." I slowly turn my head, looking at her. Sure, Pansy was pretty and nice when she wants to be but she was always so mean to Mickey and she was just too clingy. "Pansy, I'm not your boyfriend. We're JUST friends; nothing more, nothing less." I say firmly as I pulled my hand away. She looks hurt but then just responds with an ok and gets on the train. I pick up my bird cage and bag and got on the train after her. I walk down the train further until I see Mickey sitting in a compartment alone. She's looking into a notebook writing in it. I open the door and stand in the doorway. "Hey, Mickey Mouse, why did you run off like that? Scared of the truth?"
Mickey's P.o.V. I look up from my writing, turning red at his words. And I know he saw it. I mean, yes I had a small, small!, crush on Draco, but I got over it. Because I knew I didn't have a chance. He was with that Pansy girl. She was only a few months older than me but she looked years. She dyes her hair and wears tight clothes and has piercings already and she's only thirteen! Plus, she was getting curves and wears a sports bra. I had no curves, no chest; my hair had always been one color, and I had never even thought about piercings.
This would be a long year guys staring at her 24/7. I look at him again. "Of course not. The truth sets you free. Speaking of the truth; I hate it when people call me Mickey Mouse." He sits down with a laugh and turns to look out the window. I do too, shocked to see that we had already started moving. He turns back to look at me but he was sitting too close so that our faces hit slightly. I laugh as he turns red. It's not like we kissed. Just as I got over my thought, he was asking me something. "So Mic, how did you get the name Mickey?" I laugh, thinking of the day. "Sandra was learning everyone's full names and when she got to me my mom only got the Mc part out before Sandy screamed 'Mickey Mouse!' and she's been calling me that ever since. " I tell him. He laughs and responds, "Well, I think that's adorable." I blush with embarrassment but then he say "But you're more adorable." I thought maybe he was saying that to be nice but then he starts to move closer to me, closing his eyes. I mirror him and we were about to kiss when the door slams open.
I pull away as fast as I can and turn to see Sandra crying in the door way. "Sandy, how did you get on the train? Are you okay?" I ask, reaching my hand over to grab hers but she smacked my hand away screaming, "How could you? I hate you!" She runs down the hall. I get up and run after her. I already know where she was heading. Fred and George.
