and i wanted to write an apology letter to myself

i'm sorry that i've let people walk over us, and take advantage of us
i'm sorry.
i'm sorry that i let us get hurt while trying to find the good and love in people
i'm sorry that i don't know when to quit, and when to start
i'm sorry for passing up all the good choices in life
i'm sorry for the multiple heart breaks i've put us through. we don't deserve that.
but most of all,
i'm sorry for being me.
i'm sorry for being us.
