After The Kissing Booth

Chapter 8

The look on Noah Flynn's face when I told him I love him was something I have never seen before. I could tell he was genuinely happy, and that made me happy. "Why are you making that face weirdo" I say looking down at my glass of water. "I don't know, I'm just really happy right now" he says still smiling and I can't help but smile back. We finish our food and head down to the beach, we sit on a bench and watch the water, it was silent but nice. We sat there for a while with the sun beating down on us when he decided it would be a good idea to get in the water "Noah I can't, I don't have a bathing suit and we're in public" I say with a quiet but stern voice "Elle c'mon, it's way to hot out here for us to just sit here" he says and I realize he's not going to stop begging until I give in, so I do. I take off my shirt and shorts to reveal my lace bra and underwear and as soon as I do I see the look on Noah's face change, he's totally checking me out. "Noah" I say hitting his side "stop being weird" I say and a smile crosses his face and he picks me up and throws me over his shoulder "Noah put me down I can walk down to the water" I yell and he's starts laughing and as soon as I start to yell again I feel my body start to slip and I fall into the cold water, I swim back up and Noah is still laughing  even harder and I start splashing him with water "Elle that's really cold stop" he says and I laugh "how do you think I feel, I'm drenched" I say as he moves in closer and starts to kiss me. The kiss was slow but passionate and I could feel the world around us stop for just a second. I love him, I'm completely and totally in love with him. I don't know how I let myself fall back in love with him, or maybe I never stopped loving him, either way I know I'm in trouble. I think Noah gets tired of hunching over to kiss me so he finally picks me up and I wrap my legs around his waist. After kissing for a while we stop and he pushes his forehead against mine "I have really missed that" he says with a huge smile on his face. "I did too" I say "I never want to put you down" he adds and I smile "your going to have to put me down sometime" I say and he reply's "I know I just don't want to, I never want to be apart from you again" he says looking down "I know I have hurt you in the past, and I'm sorry about that. I have never stoped loving you, and being apart from you was the worst" he adds "I just..." I cut him off "Noah I know, you don't have to say anything else" I say and he nods "I don't want to be apart from you either" I say and he starts to smile once again but this one was different, it was the goofiest smile I have ever seen. We pulls me in for another kiss and we notice the sun going down. We lay on the sand for a while with our finger intertwined and I never want to leave, I just want to stay like this forever but that comes to an end when my phone starts ringing. I pick it up and it's my little brother Brad "hey I can't talk right now..." I say and he interrupts "Elle, dads in the hospital" he says and I just about drop my phone
