You're Mine (Ichiji X Reader)

Chapter 2

“What can you do?"

“Uhh, what do you mean?”

"Any speciality?” he asked. "If not. Then, you're just a burden to this world. And to lessen the burden of this world. You may die."

“Slow down there. I can cook.”

"Good. That means I don't need to kill you. From now on you work at the kitchen.”

"Oh, um, o-okay.”

“Stop stuttering."

“Sorry.”

“Just go to the kitchen and ask one of the chefs, they’ll tell you some rules here, and don’t try to escape.” You nodded in respond. Ichiji walked away, without even telling you where is the kitchen.

Wow, he didn't even tell me where is the kitchen, great, stop stuttering he said, blah blah blah. You thought, mocking him when he was not found anywhere in sight.

“What are you doing?” a voice asked, you turned around and saw Niji.

“Red haired man tell me to go to the kitchen but he doesn’t tells me where is the kitchen.”

"Red haired man?" He smirked. "You have guts. If you act like that in this Kingdom. You'll end  up dying first."

"Thanks for the information." You rolled your eyes. Want to look ignorant and strong but actually really  worried of what he'll do. "And the kitchen?"

"That way.” He said pointing at a hallway.

"Thank you.” You nodded at him and walked to the direction.

He said this way, but I saw nothing that looks like a kitchen. You thought. Stupid princes.

You kept walking forward and saw a door. And heard many people in there and of course, smell of foods.

You slowly opened the door and looked into the room to saw few people walked everyway readying food, you walked in and asked one of them. "Excuse me. Is this the kitchen?” you asked.

"It is. And if I may ask, who are you?” she asked back.

"My name is (y/n). Red- I mean, Ichiji brought me from my country that he just attacked,” you said.

"I'm sorry to hear that, does Lord Ichiji send you here?” You nodded. “Then I believe you can cook, c’mon help us make dinner.”

You stood next to her. “I don’t know your name.”

“Oh, yeah, my name is Jess.” (she’s just a common character, you can imagine her like, whatever you want) you then helped Jess make grilled fish.

“Good job, (y/n), your cooking skill is pretty good,” Jess said.

"Thanks, Jess.” You and Jess talked to each other until a guard walked to the kitchen and said, “Where's the new cook?”

You rose your hand and the guard told you that Niji is looking for you. The guard guide you to the dining room and you walked in to saw a massive dining room. Comparing it with your house's, yours just seem really small.

“Did you make this grilled fish?” Niji asked.

"Yes. Yes, I did."

“Well, congratulations!" He said sarcastically. "You ruined the fish!”
