Those words haunt Cat. Who was that guy anyway? How could he be so mean to her? She tries to shoo the memory of that humiliating scene but it keeps on repeating in her miiind.Like a video clip stuck in replay.
"Cat. Don't mind that guy! He's a jerk!" Maggie nudges Cat endlessly. Cat is at Mggie's house, it's Friday night and Maggie hosted a slumber party. Great, how can Cat enjoy now? Thanks to that stranger.
"I'll look for that guy and I'll punch his nose!" Tanya added. She showed them her fist.
"You can't even kill an ant." Tiffany said to Tanya. Tanya lowered her fist. "K.Fine!" She said.
"Cat, let's just forget about that even for tonight? Let me paint your nails!" Maggie pulled her bestfriend. Cat just nodded.
Matt's POV
What the hell are you doing here?!?!
Stupid!
Witch!
Liar! A flirt!
Go back to your hell!
Matt locked himself inside his bedroom. His bag and other things are scattered on the floor. He sat on his bed thinking about what happened few hours ago at his new school.
"Matt? Dinner's ready." His mother-Annabelle knocks on the door. Matt ignores her.
"Matt?You can just talk to me if you need someone to talk too.Please join me for dinner Matt.I missed you my son." Annabelle said, she is quivering.
"I know when I'm hungry and when I'm not." Matt plays his music so loud seems like the whole world could hear it. Annabelle leaves her son. Matt drastic change pains her. She feels so desperate. She misses her sweet and cheerful son. Matt used to be so happy, so friendly and loves to play with his band. He began to change when Annabelle and her husband decided to separate and Matt's two-year relationship with his girlfriend- Alyssa fell apart. One day Matt just appeared on Annabelle's porch and told her he didn't want to stay with his dad anymore. Matt flew away from his hometown just to avoid Alyssa. His different now.
At Maggie's house.
"He was a hot guy." Maggie blurted. Cat and Maggie sat on Maggie's porch. They were staring at the moon.
"Indeed he was." Cat answered. The guy has a pair of icy blue eyes, he was tall, insanely handsome but he was so mad. She's not scared of him though. She wanted to see him again.Maybe it was just a mistaken identity.Maybe the guy was drunk.
"Let's look for him? I think the only way you'll be at peace again is when you talk to him." Maggie suggested.
"Yes! I'll look for him and maybe help him with whatever's bothering him!" Cat was so delighted. This is a new adventure for her.
"JEEP class!" maggie yelled.
"Job English Enabling Proficiency?What about it?" Cat asked.Maggie was referring to a new subject added to their curriculum. JEEP focuses on enhancing the communication skills of students. A student can choose her schedule for that class.
"First we need to know his name, then we'll search for his schedule in JEEP class then we'll enroll there too! That way you'll get close to him!" Maggie hopped all around like a bunny.
"You look funny!" Cat exclaimed. Both of them got excited. Perfect plan Cat thought.
"So tomorrow let's go back to the ComSci Department. I'm sure we'll find him there. He was wearing a ComSci shirt awhile ago!" Maggie stood in front of Cat. Her eyes were sparkling. Cat loves her bestfriend-Maggie.Maggie and Cat have the same personality.So optimistic.
I'll look for you ComSci guy.I'll find you.You'll see. Cat thought.
I don't want to see you anymore. Matt thought.
