--Cali's POV--

Okay, I mentioned this on the weekend but, seriously, waking up early for Girl Band is honestly going to kill me by the end of this show! But, that is beside the point because have a guess at what day it is today... IT'S THURSDAY and do you know what that means? PERFORMANCE NIGHT!

Okay, sorry for that outburst but, it's getting so close to the finish line that, I hate the weekends even though we still have rehearsals but, I just hate them because it means it's one more day or two days further to Thursday and, not going to lie, when we have a day off, even though it is nice, sometimes I don't know what to do during that day off so I just post so many photos onto my Instagram and I do InstaLives as well as just binge watch Boy Band because I've got nothing else better to do and I can't rehearse on days off so, I just get bored and just waiting for the weekend to finish. And, just imagine if I don't make this Girl Band, I'll be going back to school and doing the stuff I was doing beforehand which drove me to want to audition but being too scared to that Michael and Erica ended up doing it for me, and having to be that 'normal 16-year-old girl who's dating a 17-year-old boy band superstar and the younger sister of a 19-year-old boy band superstar' like, no, I don't want that title and to be known as that for the rest of my high school years would just be so shitty, I want to be known as that '16-year-old girl band superstar dating a 17-year-old boy band superstar and the younger sister of a 19-year-old superstar' or, even 'Cali Smith, the girl who is a force to be reckoned with' something simple like that I wouldn't care. I want to become someone, not just someone who will be forgotten about.

"Cali, are you okay?" Everleigh asked I stifled a laugh, I wish I could say I was but, it wouldn't be the truth because I'm not okay

"I-uh, hah, do I have to answer that question?" I ask before Everleigh was going to respond, my phone had pinged with my notification alarm, it was a notification from Instagram, I was tagged in a post that Michael had posted, oh dear god, what has he posted of me now?

Caption: You've grown up so much Callistana Jayne Smith, I cannot believe it, it honestly makes me so emotional that I hate how emotional I get because of it. This has to be my favourite photo of you because you were like, 12 years old yet you looked 17 years old and, your brown hair was so light, so light that Mom didn't let you get your hair dyed blonde because she thought that your natural hair colour was a shade away from being blonde, you had braces, you were very insecure about your smile but, once I made you laugh before that photo, you didn't stop smiling that whole day, you were so happy that year, despite everything not really going as plan, you didn't stop being positive. Then, came 2017, also known as the year that I left you and everything came crashing down, I'm sorry that I couldn't let you come to visit me more often as you would have liked, there were moments during Boy Band that I just wanted to surrender and give up and get on a plane and fly back home to Cleveland just because I missed you so much, even though it was hard to not do that, I'm glad I didn't because that night you surprised me was the night that not just my life but your life changed as well. Now, you are 16 years old and, I couldn't be more proud of how far you've come since being that shy as little 15-year-old girl at the first auditions for Girl Band, you are so close to the finish line bub, and I believe in you Munchkin, so does Sergio, Chance, Brady and Drew, we all believe that you are going to make it to the end and make the final band. Love you so much Cali and I couldn't have wished for a better sister than you!  ❤️
