Chapter 8

Liam's POV:

"Ready boys?" Management asks
"Yeah." Niall says
I take a deep breath as 5SOS runs backstage, quickly hugging each of us. Then I'm standing there, staring at the wall with the rest of the boys talking. The a door slides open and we run onto the stage as the bad starts to Midnight Memories. I smile and wave at the group of screaming girls right in front of me. They're reaching their hands up so I high five them before jogging to catch up with Louis. We start singing the chorus and then my solo comes. As soon as I start, the crowd roars and I can't help but smile.
"You sing!" Niall shouts, holding his microphone towards the crowd
"I don't know where I'm going but I'm finding my way!" they chant
"Same old shhh- but a different day." Niall sings as everyone screams
The concert goes on, we answer Twitter questions, and sing the last few songs.
"That's what makes you beautiful!" Harry sings as the lights go out
The hundreds of girls scream as we run backstage. I take out my phone and text Claire.
Me: Babe, hi! Sorry you didn't hear from me yesterday! Rehearsals all day. Love you!
I checked the time. 10:49. I sigh.
"You alright?" Calum asks, putting an arm around my shoulder
"Yeah," I say "Just tired."
"Aah." he says, slapping me on the back and walking away
My phone vibrates in my hands.
Claire: Don't worry about it. How was the show tonight? People are already tweeting pictures.
Me: Good. Tiring but I can't complain really. Living the dream.
Claire: Haha. But listen it's late, I have to go. Really sorry! Talk to you tomorrow?
Me: Yeah. Night.
Claire: Night.
Well, I think, I might as well thank the crowd.
I go onto Twitter.
Great show tonight! Always great being back in Washington. Thanks loads! :) I tweet, then put my phone in my pocket before I can get distracted by the fans' replies
We wait backstage until everyone clears out then get escorted to a limo, the 5SOS boys with us. We're driven to a night club. The nine of us and security walk in and take seats at the bar, each ordering a drink. Luke, Michael, Harry, and I go out onto the dance floor after a while.
"Great performance, Lads!" Harry shouts over the loud music
"Thanks!" Michael and Luke shout back
We make loud small talk for a while before a girl screams.
"OH MY GOD! LUME PAYTE AND LAYKE HIMMANGS!" she says running over to us, obviously drunk
"Erm, hi. Nice to meet you." I say, smiling and reaching out the shake her hand
She takes my hand and practically falls, almost pulling me down with her. I grab her other arm to keep her balanced.
"You saved me." she says, staring into my eyes with a dazed look on her face
"No big deal." I say awkwardly
"Now I have to repay you!" she smirks, leaning her head on my shoulder
I look over at Harry, who's laughing at us.
"No really, it's fine." I say
"LITA POON SAVED ME!" the girl screeches "THAT MEANS WE'RE IN LOVE!"
"Wait, no. No, no. I just... not in love." I stutter
"Don't be silly!" she says, pushing me against the nearby wall and kissing me furiously
I struggle to push her off. I see a flash, then feel security trying to pry the girl off. When she finally releases, Harry, Ashton, and Zayn come over to me, while the other boys are by the bar laughing.
"Damn." Zayn says
"Um, you good?" Ashton asks
Harry wiggles his eyebrows at me.
"Who took the picture? Why was there a flash?" I ask hurriedly
"Erm, her friend, I think." Harry says, running his fingers through his hand
I look down.
"I think I should go." I say, heading over to security
I get back to the hotel room and go on twitter.

The last tweet had a picture with it. I clicked the link and saw a side view of the drunk girl on top of me.
I go off of twitter and throw my phone to a chair across the room.
"DAMN IT!" I scream, ripping the covers off of my bed and climbing into it
I shut my eyes, anger running through me. I somehow manage to fall asleep before Zayn comes back to the room.
