I hopped onto the train and waved goodbye as Imelda chased goodbye to me.
As they disappeared in the distance,I later sat back in my seat relaxing. I looked over to my guitar and smiled.
Moments later, I took my guitar out and started playing and humming, tapping my feet on the ground.
"Hey, could you keep it down up there?!" A random lady shouts to me.
I flinch and look back biting my fingers. "So...so sorry."
The woman throws her hair to the side and looks away from me.
I sigh and smile at my guitar. I put it back in the case and hear the train horn blow. I suddenly look up and realize that we were already here.
I hopped out of the train and took a deep breath into the air. It was a beautiful little town and I was excited to see an old friend. I reached into my pocket and took out a small slip of paper. I examine the paper and read the directions to his house.
"Let's see," I say, "52..."
A group of kids came running through me and I fell onto the ground. I clenched my fists and realized...the paper-no! The paper that had the directions on it was gone.
"Wait!" I shout to the kids but they all United me.
Oh, no.
I look around everywhere for it but still no luck. After all, it was a tiny slip of paper, it could be anywhere right now.
I take off my hat and throw myself onto the sidewalk.
"No luck?" I sigh, "That's my type of luck, I guess."
I gaze up to the road and see the paper stuck in a sewer well lid. I jump up and look for traffic and then reach for the paper before a truck comes flying at it's highest speed. I quickly run back to the sidewalk and watch as the paper is shredded into pieces.
I yank my hair and then go after the pieces.
"No! No! No! No! No!" I gasp.
I take a little bag out of my pocket and take the pieces one by one and put them into the bag.
I quickly rush back across the road and grab my suit case and guitar. I look at the pieces in my bag and look around to see if there was a place that could possibly have tape.
I look to the far left and spot a sign hanging off from the side of a building that read:
"Manny's Accesorios".I guess I'll have to try that place.
I jump up with my bags and head towards the store.
