TAEHYUNG'S POV

I was just waiting for her in the lobby.

Tapping my foot on the floor while watching some anime on my phone.

"Mr Kim?" A faint voice called onto me.

I look up to see Mrs Jeon.

I quickly removed my earphones and shut my phone off.

I stood up and bowed

"Mrs Jeon. It's nice to meet you again" I grinned at her

"Oh and please call me Taehyung." I say

"So what are you doing here Taehyung?" She asked

"Oh, I'm here because Jiminssi might come." I say

She just smiled at me

"Why don't you accompany me on this restaurant and talk about some stuff?" She asked me

I can't leave Y/N alone.

"Oh I'm so sorry Mrs Jeon. I would really love to accompany you but Y/N ssi and I are actually heading for a lunch date. Maybe if u like, you can join us?" I smiled politely at her

She nods "ofcourse, i understand. I shouldn't ruined your lunch date with my daughter." She says

"Taehyung, I like you for my daughter. You're very polite and handsome. Your parents might be so proud to have a son like you" she says as she sat beside me on the couch

I stiffened when she told me about my parents.

"So what do you do? What's your work?" She asked me

"i- can I be honest Mrs Jeon?" I asked her and gulped

"Please don't think of me lowly and not worthy of your daughter because of what I'm about to say.." I trail off and she nods

"I have a lot of jobs. I work as a waiter as a part time job, a singer at a certain club, a dance choreographer at a company entertainment and i used to sell Home made kimchi and make some pots. I'm not rich like Park Jimin but that doesnt mean I'm not worthy of Y/N ssi." I say

"Who says your not worthy of my dear Y/N? I like you for her! You're such a hardworking boy! You're like my Y/N ssi! Such a hard worker." she compliments me and I blinked

I smiled at her "thank you for accepting me as your daughter's boyfriend. I really appreciate it. I promise I would not let anyone to hurt her. I'll protect her no matter what" I say and she looked at me full of awe

"I'm sure you will dear." She smiled and looked at her wrist watch

"Oh. I got to get going. I'll see you around Taehyungssi" she says and I bow

"Have a nice day Mrs jeon. please have a safe trip" I say and she just waved at me goodbye

It was lunch time already. I walked on Mina's table

"Did Y/N already get out of her office?" I asked

"Wow, you guys seems to be closer now. You're speaking informally to her" she chuckles

"yeah we're actually really close." I chuckled But in my mind, Our arguments kept on repeating on my mind. It's so exhausting to keep up with Y/N

"She hasn't gotten out yet. She's probably skipping lunch just to finish her work" she answered me

I frowned "thanks" I say then walked in Y/N's office without knocking.

She's on her chair. Typing. On. Her. God. Damn. Lap. Top.
