Y/N'S POV

Eunwoo and I stayed at mom's house until she fell asleep.

Eunwoo had to carry her bridal style and put her to bed. I just stood there at the door frame and I was anxious.

What if, what if the words we spoke we just ate them? What if the promises we just made just broke?

I can't let that happen. I love my mom.

I might've not gave her a lot of time when dad was here but I'm sure as hell won't do that again. I'm gonna make sure Im gonna spend my time with her.

I've been zoning out but someone brought me back to reality when Eunwoo flicked my forehead and walk pass me.

"hajima. Don't think about the future. Focus on what's in front of you." he say

And I followed him out

"aren't you worrying?" I ask

He get a cup and poured some water on it.

"life is so fleeting to worry about things. So let's just focus on things in front of us. Hmm?" He says as he drank the water

"life is so fleeting.." I've repeated it on my mind

"promise me you would focus on things in front of you. Cherished it while you still can because in a blink of an eye, they could just disappear." he say

You sounded so deep Eunwoo oppa.

I felt something was off, but I shrugged it off and smiled at him

"geuleom(then), let's do that" I nodded

My phone beeps and I look who it was.

EUNWOO'S POV

Y/N left already.  I was going home too when I halt infront of Mom's door.

I look at it for a long time.

Memories flashes through my head on what happened earlier.

Mom started coughing really really bad. While we were at the company party. She put her handkerchief on her mouth to cover it but I still saw it.

The blood.

My eyes widened in shock I was gonna call for someone, for some help when she held my fore arm and shook her head no.

"w-why?" I ask

"don't ruin the moment." she says

"I'm fine eunwoo ssi. Let's enjoy this for your sister." she says as she wiped the blood

"but mom-- she cuts me off

" life is so fleeting to worry about the future things. Focus on the present. Cherish it while you still can." she says

" mom you just coughed up blood and you tell me to enjoy this?! " I half whispered half yelled at her

" shush, please don't tell your sister. Eunwoo-ah please. I promised I'm gonna go see the Doctor" she begged me

Then everything went black out.

All I knew was taehyung proposed to Y/N. Mom was cheering and I tightly shut my eyes letting out a shaky sigh
