"Don't run away from me Gwen!" he yells echoing through the dark tunnel.
"Gwen!!"
Everything then goes dark. There is what so ever no light to be seen. Then suddenly...
"Aaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!"
I woke up breathing heavily with tears rolling down my cheeks. I sighed. Another nightmare.
I always had the same nightmares. Some guy chasing after me then everything goes dark. At the end, I scream. I never knew what it meant. I don't even know the guy chasing me. After all, it's only a nightmare. Somehow inside me, I felt as though it was a sign... but for what?
I went to the bathroom and wiped my face. Was every night going to be like this? I sighed and looked at the time on my phone. 5:52 am. I only slept since 1am considering that i hate sleeping early. I always sleep until 1pm to get some rest but the nightmares always woke me up way earlier. I walked to my room and plopped on my bed. Now what? I am one of those girls who when I wake up, I can not go back to sleep.
I then decided to go some place. I put on an oversized sweater, jeans, converse, and a beanie. It was winter time and here in Connecticut, it gets quite cold in the winter. I then took my phone and texted Sean.
Sean Williams is my best friend. He would do anything for me and I would do anything for him. I haven't yet told him about these nightmares and today I was planning to.
"Hey can you meet up with me? I have to tell you something." I texted him.
I took my phone and headed downstairs trying not to wake my dad. I only lived with my father. My "mom" left us for some other guy but I couldn't care less about Marissa Kane. My dad was my only family and I don't know what I'd do without him.
I quietly went downstairs and quickly got the house keys on the counter. I walked outside and into the backyard then locked the door. I ran far from the house until i got a text.
"Sure. On my way to the bench but so early?" I giggled and walked over to he nearby bench. It was a bus stop bench. This is where me and Sean met. 4 years ago waiting to go to the bus on our first day as freshman. He was annoying but he was there for me.
"I see you!" he texted. I looked around and saw him smirking. I giggled and motioned him to come. He walked over and sat right next to me.
"What is is Princess Gwen Winter?" he asked yawning. I could tell he was tired but he did the same thing to me when he had to tell me that his mom went to jail.
"Sean... you may think its silly but i have been having this... nightmare." I say. He chuckled.
"What about?"
I explained to him the dream and his eyes slightly widened then he smiled.
"I am here for you." I was not expecting him to say that.
"What do you think it's about?" I asked him.
"I don't know. Just try to think that it is just a nightmare, okay?" he said wrapping his arm around me. I looked into his electric blue eyes. They looked almost... pure. I rested my head on his chest.
"Gwen?"
"Hmm?" I hummed closing my eyes.
"I lo- missed you." he choked out. I smiled and interlocked our hands.
His hands were warm... i am thankful to have him.
"You saw me yesterday." I say still smiling.
"And that was hard for me." he said. I giggled.
"I missed you too." I said.
