A/N I'm going to start writing songs that I recommend listening to when reading.
The neighbourhood- R.i.p to my youth
The neighbourhood- Wires
*Rosita's P.O.V*
I chug down the rest of remains in my drink and close my eyes as I listen to the clattering of drinks and loud voices shouting over each other. I focus on the pounding music playing in my ears and the sweat that drifts around the club. I'm sitting on a barstool my back to the dance floor and my fingers grip at my cup. My body grows tense. Numerous people, both men and women, have asked for a dance or a drink but I made it clear I didn't want to be disturbed; I simply shouted in their face or brought my fangs out. Works every time.
I had been going around town killing any one to satisfy my never-ending hunger. A few days back I found a spell to compel anyone to do as I say, and it's been working like a charm.
"Can I get a refill." I shout to the bartender.
The bartender, who looks like he's in his mid-forties, hurries over to me. He fills my cup with a strong cocktail that went along the lines of 'The misty misted'.
"Mysterious name for a cocktail." I say to myself.
I chug down the drink and slam it down. Wiping my mouth on the back of my sleeve, I look around the club again. Music continues to blast through the speakers and the voices become painfully louder the more I focus on them. I stagger my way to the hectic dance floor and dance as if no one was there. I wasn't in tune with the stupid dub step music they were playing. I just felt like forgetting.
Hours passed and I danced drunkenly. But it just wasn't enough. Walking to the bar I steal a bottle of vodka and stagger out of the club.

"The Goosebumps start to raise
The minute that my left hand meets your waist
And then I watch your face
Put my finger on your tongue
Cause you love the taste yeah," I sing into the night.
I've been walking for what seemed like hours. It's hard to walk when you're drunk. I've been shouting songs into the night the entire journey hoping it would take my mind off things. Finally, I reach my house. Standing on the front lawn I look up and sigh. I then walk down the road to my sister.
"Why'd you leave Alessa?" I ask the to grave that stands next to me. My head rests against it and I sip the burning liquid. "Take a look at me Alessa I'm a mess."
I listen to the night. Branches wisp and whistle in the howling wind.
"Why am I doing this to myself when I supposed to not feel a thing?" I ask.
I continue to sip the drink.
"My brain tells me to cry everything out. But I can't. I tried I really did. But the only thing that escaped my eyes was blood. It was as if the universe was trying to tell me something... but all I did was lick it off. Alessa why in the world would I do that? I ramble "In my defence I was left unsupervised."
Instead of sipping on the vodka I decide to chug it down.
"You know I never drank vodka for the taste, I drank it for the fire that burned within me after. Hmph. Do you know what. I'm going to do our entire dead family proud by giving them some entertainment from up there."
Or down there.
"Let's sing some neighbourhood Alessa. We talked about making it. I'm sorry that you never made it
And it pains me just to hear you have to say it. You knew the game and played it. It kills to know that you have been defeated. I see the wires pulling while you're breathing."
You knew you had a reason. It killed you like diseases. I can hear it in your voice while your speaking you can't be treated. Mrs. Know it all had her reign and her fall. At least that's what her brain is telling all." I sigh. "I think you know the rest Al."

A/n That chapter was quite sloppy but as the book goes on I'm sure you'll be able to put the pieces together.
Another A/n To best honest I'm still obsessed with the song Wires. I literally had the song on repeat the entire time.
