(Apologies if this one is a bit worse than the last ones. I'm experiencing a bit of writers block.)
"Okay, so.. toothbrushes.. clothes..phones.."
You and Tom both rambled on, naming things you needed for the trip, making sure you had them all.
After all, you were leaving in 10 minutes.
"Alright sweetheart, lets go!" Tom said, helping you walk while you rolled the suitcases on the floor behind you.
You just smiled.
Blu and Tessa were following next to both of you on leashes.
Neither of you would be able to carry them in their cages for too long.
Getting into the Uber, Tom thoughtfully put the dogs with you in the seats, and the luggage in the trunk of the car, after helping you in.
"Alright, let's go!" He said, hopping into the car. "Off to the airport we go."
He smiled at you.
You were watching the buildings pass outside the window. It was mesmerizing.
Tom put his hand on yours, and you looked at him. Your fingers intertwined as if they were puzzle pieces going together- a perfect fit.
You smiled brightly at him, and he smiled back even brighter.
All that was going through your mind was how happy you were to be here with him- and how much you loved him.
Arriving at the airport, you grabbed the luggage while Tom got the dogs.
You figured you could walk fine on your own, just with a limp, and that's what you did.
Tom offered to help you walk every ten minutes, but every time you refused.
'Good Lord, he's so caring and sweet and ugh.. How the f did I get so lucky?' You thought to yourself, before getting on the plane.
Blu and Tessa were now in cages, and on the floor.
The trip wasn't too long, and honestly you felt like it went by a bit too fast. Tom had fallen asleep leaning on your shoulder, and holding your hand yet again.
You couldn't stop smiling.
You kissed him on the top of his head and fell asleep, your head next to his.
You wished you could stay in that moment forever, however the flight ended a few hours later.
"First thing tomorrow, we're going to the beach," You said excitedly.
Tom chuckled. "Whatever you want, darling."
