"Darling, darling doesn't have a problem lying to herself cause her liquor's top shelf"Carmen Lana Del Rey
Backstory:
Jimin was famous, everyone knew his name in Korea. If you didn't, then you must be living under a rock. All the girls, and boys, wanted him. He was one of the most desirable people in all Korea, with his blonde hair, tight black pants and loose shirts or sweaters. He was beautiful.
Everyone thought he had it easy, that he had a fun life, dancing his heart away, drinking and partying till the sun came up, and bedding many men and woman. He must be happy, right?
Well, sometimes the truth doesn't quite meet the eye.
Jimin was simply a puppet, being pulled in different directions by strings invisible to the public eye. Forced into submission and broken beyond repair to do the string's bidding.
Everyone thought the bruises were from practices, that's what his manager's said about them. And of course everyone believed them. Because how could carefree Jimin be tortured?
That was all an act, an act the strings told him to perform. So of course he obeyed. He had been completely brainwashed to do whatever they say. And no one ever knew a thing.
Though every lie and act eventually gets revealed.
Present:
Yoongi has just applied for a job for the same industry Park Jimin, the famous dancer, worked at. He was just gonna be Jimin's personal assistant, just a job to pay the bills while he worked on his own music. He had always wanted to rap. But he never was confident enough to reach that goal. So he just did minimal jobs while working on his music.
Though he was slightly scared after he got the job, since he had to sign a contract that he must keep everything that he sees or hears silent, but he just passed that off as not wanting anyone to hear what Jimin was doing next. Yeah, that was it.
So here he was, getting the coffee Jimin had every morning apparently, it was his first day. He had been so nervous that he wore his nicest button up white shirt and brushed his black hair until it was completely straight, wanting to look presentable.
After he made the coffee he went to the dancing studio, nervous that he would be seeing the Park Jimin, the most world renown dancer, and apparently the most handsome man in Korea. So he was a bit intimidated to say the least.
Then when he got to the doors of the dance studio and opened it, he was taken aback.
Jimin was dancing, he thinks it was ballet? No matter what he was beautiful. His blonde hair curly and a baggy black and white striped t-shirt on, with black jeans on. He looked breathtaking.
Then when he gasped Jimin's head turned, and he saw empty dark brown eyes that made him shiver. They seemed so cold, like they were completely void of all emotion.
"I-um have your coffee, Park Jimin." He said awkwardly, cursing at his awkwardness while holding the cup out.
Jimin stared at him for a bit, and he smiled, and it almost met his eyes, almost.
"Thank you." Jimin told him while going up to get his cup, and took a sip of it.
"What is your name?" Jimin questioned him, he had a smirk on his face now.
"My name is Yoongi." He told him, stop mesmerized by how empty he seemed, when on stage people remarked at how joyful his eyes seemed.
"Hmmm, well, Yoongi. I guess you signed that contract?" Jimin asked him, his face going serious all of a sudden.
"Yes, I did." He told him, still confused at how big of a deal the contract was. It's not like he was gonna tell everyone what he was doing. And they can easily change their performance.
"Good. Now, I have to discuss matters with them, I would like for you to leave. Since they would hate to have someone in here while they handled things." Jimin said in a hollow tone, suddenly the seriousness before was gone and it was replaced with this emotionless voice and his body seemed to have sagged slightly.
He quickly got out, not wanting to deal with this anymore. Too scared.
Though he kept wondering. Why did he call them "they" and not his managers.
And what did he mean by "handle things?"
