Jimin only gave him a half smile, since it didn't reach his eyes. He had sweat pouring down his body, but this time he didn't find it hot. He found it terrible. But he made sure not to show his discomfort. Of course he had always been terrible at concealing his emotions and after Jimin studying his face for two minutes he frowned.
"What's wrong Yoongi?" Jimin said in a slightly eerie voice. He only looked up at him and forced a smile.
"Nothing! It's just you smell terrible." He joked, trying to distract Jimin from what just happened.
Jimin finally seemed to smile fully, and chuckled a bit. He also smiled at Jimin being happy. He also saw his messy curly blonde hair in his eyes, he wanted nothing more than to thread his fingers through it. He wanted to brush his hair back and kiss his soft pink lips, wait, what? He's being delusional, that will never happen. Jimin probably doesn't even think of him as a friend.
"Yoongi? Are you sure you are okay?" Jimin said cautiously, he looked at Jimin's eyes and they seemed concerned. As if Jimin should be the one concerned, when he's the one who got tortured and forced to submit. It's sick.
"Jimin? What happened while I was gone?" He asked, wanting to see what Jimin would say.
Jimin's mood changed instantly. He changed from sorta okay to completely emotionless in at least two seconds. He saw Jimin blink, and he wanted to scream.
"Nothing, absolutely nothing." Jimin said coldly, and for some reason he still wanted to get him to say something.
"Don't lie Jimin. What happened?" He pried, not wanting to give up just yet.
"I said nothing happened, Yoongi. And besides, you are just my assistant. It isn't any of your business. Understand?" Jimin snapped, his eyes were stone cold.
He was stunned, Jimin was never like this. Even when he seemed to be emotionless he was never said anything this cold. He shouldn't have pried. But he still refused to give up. He had to get Jimin to say something. Even if it was a lie. He had too.
"Yeah, an assistant who you laugh with. And assistant who you talk to and get to know, an assistant who you fucking think of as a friend." He yelled, getting in Jimin's face. He saw tears in Jimin's eyes.
"I-I-I can't." He heard Jimin whisper, tears running down his face. He felt his heartbreak.
He wiped the tears from Jimin's eyes.
"Yes you can." He whispered back.
"Who was hurting you, Jimin?"
"Th-th-they were." Jimin strangled out before falling to the floor.
Jimin then started to scream and cry out, he was having another episode. Jimin started to claw at his face and try to pull out his hair, while screaming for someone to get out.
He knew not to instantly go to Jimin, since he would get hurt. So he watched with a grimace on his face as his beautiful Jimin tried to rip off his own skin. Then when Jimin finally stopped and was curled up in a ball, shaking, he finally decided to go near him.
He sat next to Jimin, and tentatively put his hand on Jimin's shoulder, and Jimin stilled slightly, only to start shaking again. He then wrapped his arm around Jimin and slowly pulled him in for a hug. He felt Jimin cry harder.
"Shhh it's okay Jimin, I'm here." He comforted.
"They are gonna kill me, help me, please. You need to go, before they kill you. I can't let you die. Leave, please. I can't see another person die because of me, especially someone I lo-" Before Jimin finished, he took a deep breath and more tears fell down his cheeks, "I can't let you die."
He shook his head, he wasn't gonna let Jimin stay here any longer. He had to get Jimin out.
"You aren't leaving me, and I'm not leaving you." He whispered to him, it was a promise, he was facing Jimin right now, their faces merely inches apart.
"Promise?" Jimin asked vulnerably, his eyes were filled fear and something else, something he refused to believe.
"Promise." He confirmed, Jimin only smiled slightly.
All he wanted to do was kiss him, but he knew that Jimin didn't feel that way towards him, so he resisted. Besides, he wasn't even sure if he wanted to have a relationship with him. He was too afraid that this was simply an infatuation that will end. So he will hold off.
Then something happened that he should have know was gonna happen. Jimin stilled, his face suddenly draining of all emotion. He felt a sinking feeling in his stomach. No, not again.
"Jimin?" He asked weakly, Jimin only looked at him and blinked. He wanted to scream.
Jimin got up, but instead of turning on the music and dancing, he just stared at the wall. As if he was trying to figure something out. Yoongi had to do something.
"Jimin, you know what just happened. Don't deny it." He said in a dark voice, he wanted to sound intimidating, to get Jimin's attention.
Jimin looked at him, and he swore he saw tears in his eyes, but he just kept giving him this long stare.
"We have a a party tonight with many fans tonight Yoongi, and I want you by my side no matter what." Jimin stated, then walked out of the room coldly.
He swore he felt the room get colder when Jimin left. He wanted to burst out in anger, because it's so goddamn unfair that he can't just ask Jimin out, that he can't have a normal relationship with Jimin. He just wanted to have a normal life, he didn't want to be caught up in this mess. And the bad thing is, he didn't want to walk out. He didn't want to just leave and pretend nothing ever happened like everyone else. He wanted to help Jimin, he wanted Jimin to be himself, and not trapped under this terrible curse.
He wanted Jimin to be free.
He knew he would be getting back to his place late tonight, not like that's big news. He normally was late, going to bars and getting drunk to avoid the fact that he was slowly falling for Jimin more and more every day. He never hooked up with anyone, he never found any enjoyment in that. Even before he met Jimin. He wanted to share that type of love with someone he cared about, someone he loved and never wanted to part with, not some random stranger on the street.
He realized he probably had to go clean up some before he went to the party, which he remembered started at 7:00 PM, and it was 5:00 PM right now, so he had two hours to get ready. Which means he had one hour for himself, since he wanted to be by Jimin's side all night. He didn't trust anyone here. Especially the staff.
It was time to go, he looked in the mirror and he decided that his white button up shirt with some black pants would do fine, his hair was messy but he didn't really care. All he cared about right now was Jimin.
When he got there he saw Jimin in a loose silk black shirt and black pants, his hair was curly and he couldn't help but want to ruffle it, though he resisted the urge.
"Hello Yoongi." Jimin said in that same robotic voice, but this time when he looked into his eyes, he gasped.
He saw emotions in his eyes. He saw loneliness, fear, melancholy, and so much vulnerability. God, how much he wanted to hug him right now. He always felt this desire to protect him when he was around Jimin. It was just like Jimin had this vulnerable vibe to him, but also he could definitely tell Jimin isn't someone to mess with. With the amount of torture he gets put through on a daily basis.
"Hello, Jimin." He finally says, smiling warmly at him.
"Shall we go?" Jimin asked, he just nodded.
But he decided to take a leap of faith, and grabbed Jimin's hand. Jimin looked at him for a while, but just slightly smiled and lead Yoongi to the party in the other room.
Yoongi tried to forget the butterflies in his stomach when he felt Jimin's hand in his
