You mistake Shownu sneaking out as him cheating on you.

You had noticed Shownu was spending a lot of his days off away from home. When he did have work he came home later than usual and never let you look at his phone when you were around.
You didn't want to jump to conclusions but you feared the worst. You were in your shared room whilst Shownu was showering. His phone pinged with a text.
You resisted the urge to look and carried on scrolling on instagram. You then heard his ringtone and another text pop up.
"Babe your phone keeps going off you have a text, want me to check it?" You shouted to him. You turned over his phone and began reading the texts.

😊😊 I hope you'll be able to sneak out without your girlfriend noticing. Use a lame excuse if you have to.
You felt your heart drop seeing these. This person only had emojis set as their contact name, he clearly wanted to hide it.
You heard him scrambling around. "No don't worry about reading it out I'm finished in here anyway" he answered back.
You furrowed your eyebrows. "But you just got in there?" You said confusion lacing your voice. He didn't reply.
You placed his phone back on the bed and walked to the kitchen to process what you read. You decided to start on dinner. Maybe you could convince him to stay home tonight.
You were mid way through cooking a simple meal when you heard Shownu pacing about and the faint sound of him on the phone.
Against your better judgement you snuck up to listen to him. "I promise I will be there as soon as I can". "Yeah I'll make up something to y/n". "Yes I'm sure, don't worry this is the most important thing to me right now".
You heard him laugh. "I'll see you in a bit".
You walked away from the door. You were convinced now he was cheating. What other explanation was there. You shook your head to yourself.
Before you had the chance to do anything you heard Shownu opening your bedroom door, quickly you pretended to be walking up the hallway. You saw him dressed with his bag hanging from his shoulder.
"Oh I was just coming to tell you I have dinner on, I thought we could spend tonight together" you smiled looking up at him a hopeful look in your eyes.
